Role Purpose

This role requires an experienced legal professional with strong technical expertise in litigation and dispute resolution. The Litigation Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing legal cases end-to-end, ensuring appropriate legal strategies and procedures are applied to effectively resolve disputes. The role acts as a key legal advisor to the business on litigation-related matters, ensuring alignment with corporate legal frameworks, regulatory requirements, and company policies. The incumbent is expected to handle complex legal cases independently while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external counsel where required. The role demands the ability to work across diverse cultures and stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills and excellent command of the English language. The Litigation Lead is also responsible for preparing high-quality reports, insights, and case updates for senior management to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation.

Role Profile

  • provide legal advice and solutions on all aspects of the company’s business operations and interest.
  • Provide consultation and advice to the Company on a wide variety of legal matter.
  • Manage the litigation department’s team members.
  • Makes legal research to ensure that business of the Company in compliance with the applicable laws, rules and regulations.
  • Study, anticipate and protect the Company against associated legal risks.
  • Structure, draft and review reports related to the legal disputes and different business related legal matters.
  • Understand and support the business needs.
  • Monitor the implementation of the local laws and regulations and companywide policies.
  • Represent The Company before the external customers and official bodies
  • Handle legal issues related to litigations, investigations and labor law.
  • Manage legal housekeeping (archiving of official documents, litigation related documents, etc.).
  • Drive and coordinate the development of appropriate written local policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the applicable laws.
  • Share legal information and expertise with the different functions of the Company.
  • Managing relationships with external legal counsels engaged by the Company and driving for cost effective means for delivering high quality legal services.
  • Filing or manage the filling of all the cases needed by the Company.
  • Preparing summons and memos related to the cases.
  • Attending the hearings related to such cases from or against the Company.
  • Preparing the cases reports.
  • Responsible for the liaison between the company and the external counsels and Law firms.
  • Attending meetings with the external counsels and law firms.
  • Responsible for police reports and investigations.
  • Provide legal advice to case investigation teams on a day-to-day basis.
  • Support the case investigation to ensure the efficient and effective investigation and progression of cases.

What's in it for you

Minimum of 7 years professional experience in in litigation and/or arbitration

Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in law

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • High Expertise, Practice & Strong Contracts Drafting skills, along with Excellent command of Legal English.
  • Legally qualified with significant experience gained in-house and prior to in-house at a leading law firm
  • Commercial law, drafting and negotiating experience, with ability to provide innovative legal solutions in a fast moving industry.
  • Deep knowledge & Practice of Amicable, Arbitration & Litigation Dispute Resolutions methods.
