Job Description

Are you curious and motivated, with a track record of delivering strategic projects at pace?

At VMO2, you’ll have the chance to answer the most challenging questions facing the Telco industry today. Since forming our £31bn joint venture in 2021, we have accelerated our integration efforts and achieved significant synergies and continue to invest in growth and long-term shareholder value.

As part of our Corporate Strategy team, you’ll be at the core of this exciting business, guiding the long-term vision, uncovering new opportunities for value creation, and advising on M&A and business development strategies. We’re seeking a passionate strategy professional to lead complex projects, solve high-stakes strategic challenges, influence executive leadership, and have fun while doing it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Strategic Projects: Drive complex, cross-functional strategy projects that align with VMO2’s goals.
  • Executive Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and board members on critical strategic issues.
  • Strategic Growth Initiatives: Identify growth opportunities through alliances, partnerships, M&A, and more.
  • Ownership of Proposals: Deliver Board-level ready strategic documents and proposals with end-to-end accountability.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members, providing formal coaching and informal mentoring.

Location: Hammersmith until December 2024 and Paddington thereafter (2-3 days per week)
