Job Description

The role purpose of the Learning Solutions Consultant is to design, develop and market high-quality learning solutions that are engaging, interactive, and effective in meeting the learning needs of VMO2 and its employees. They are responsible for the end-to-end creation process of enterprise-wide learning solutions through the discovery, design, build and evaluation stages. The Learning Solutions Consultant also plays a key role in marketing our L&D offering and is responsible for developing marketing content and campaigns to raise awareness and drive engagement amongst colleagues.

They will work closely with partners in understanding project requirements, in addition to working collaboratively with SMEs and the wider L&D team to deliver effective enterprise-wide learning solutions in a fast-paced environment. They will use their expertise to influence the learning design of our L&D offering and champion best practice.

They will be advocates of the latest trends, innovation and best practices in learning design and technology and be responsible for continuously improving the quality and efficiency of VMO2’s learning materials.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • A proactive approach to work and a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Demonstrable experience designing and delivering engaging learning solutions to meet learning objectives.
  • Design and production of online learning content (e.g. e-learning, quizzes, games, podcasts, videos), marketing assets, live events, virtual instructor-led training sessions and workplace application activities and assessments which blend seamlessly together.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to uncover and fully understand the real learning need through effective questioning and active listening.
  • Good project management skills – we work at a fast pace!
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly with copywriting and documentation.
  • Good partner leadership skills.

The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • The ability to identify dependencies and manage these dependencies to mitigate risk to project delivery.
  • Experience developing marketing content and campaigns to raise awareness and drive engagement with our learning offering.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and iteratively in a Scrum team with other Learning Solutions Consultants and Product Owners.
  • Proactively staying up to date with the latest trends and developments in instructional design, learning technologies, and adult learning theory, and applying this knowledge to the design of learning materials and solutions.
  • Familiarity with instructional design, accessibility and inclusivity requirements and UX/UI principles for learning design.
