Job title: Senior Learning and Development Advisor

Salary: From £45,628
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading on the quality of learning agenda for the business; ensuring the learning we deploy is of an excellent standard and delivering the results needed to deliver skills strategies
- Working closely with the Centre of Expertise and wider learning stakeholders, you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving our L&D governance and assurance arrangements
- Providing specialist insight and advice to Business, HR and functional teams for Learning and Development
- Reviewing and analysing industry, market trends and internal people data; to identify short and long term solutions that improve performance
- Working flexibly across the team to provide the needed SME input to strategic projects
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Learning & Development SME experience at a strategic level
- Experience of deploying learning within a large scale business
- Experience of the full learning cycle with specific skillset in curriculum development, learning evaluation and learning assurance
- CIPD qualification
Desirable:
- Training Accredited Professional qualification

The Learning and Development Team
The learning landscape is changing dramatically for the BAE Systems business. We are charged with enabling the business to address the SQEP challenge through learning and delivering some key strategic learning projects for the future.
This role sits within the L&D Strategy and Governance team but works across the L&D team as a whole; leading on learning assurance for the business across a diverse and ambitious learning portfolio.
This role is hybrid with 2 days per week on-site, flexing upwards as needed. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
