Job Title: Service Improvement Lead

Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 dependent on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing an operational team of SME’s, responsible for advising on complex learning requirements, service governance, continuous improvement, change impact and implementation
  • Supporting the successful implementation of a new global learning management system into the team and other geographies, focusing on project readiness through change impact for both your team and key stakeholders
  • Proactively facilitating key discussions with stakeholders to scope and schedule learning demand in advance of each calendar year for their respective business areas
  • Undertaking quarterly reviews with sector and functions to assess their learning position in respect to utilisation performance and new demand needs analysis
  • Leading on the monthly reporting requirements for both internal and external customers, attending service reviews and informal stakeholder meetings
  • Working with the teams to identify and resolve Service Incidents, ensuring improvements to the service are implemented and recorded in line with end user feedback and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Proactively managing team performance and adherence to SLA’s through regular feedback and 121s and continuously invests time into the development planning activities for your team
  • Ensure compliance with all internal functional and business policies, standards and controls, and any relevant legislation, e.g. GDPR

Your skills and experiences:

  • Management experience in a fast-paced operational environment supporting multiple customers across multiple systems
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team to achieve SLA’s, respond to complex learning requirements whilst maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
  • Continuous Improvement, Impact Assessment and Change Delivery experience
  • The ability to collate and analyse data to aid decision making and adherence to process and governance frameworks
