Lead Finance Product Owner – Consolidation

Job Description

We are searching for an expert finance change professional to support the Planning and Performance Management Programme which will create a best-in-class driver-based planning models using Anaplan.

This exciting and high-profile role will be responsible for converting our consolidated GFP&A and Capex strategic goals into actionable plans & outputs alongside Finance Subject Matter Experts. This will be delivered by leading a cross-functional squad of technical model building resource, whilst also focusing on change management and adoption across the wider Finance team. This presents a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with senior leaders and other stakeholders across Finance, and the wider business, whilst also driving Finance Transformation at pace.

This role ensures that the programme delivers a robust planning consolidated tooling, dashboarding and associated ways of working to enable analytics and understanding of company performance and strategic options.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Qualified Accountant ACCA/CIMA
  • Experienced finance change professional with a good understanding of key finance processes, accounting standards & data platforms
  • Finance transformation experience (incl implementation of new processes, WoW, systems and tools)
  • Strong communication, influencing & negotiation skills across various levels & stakeholders
  • Identification of risks and issues to the Planning and Performance Management team as well as Finance & Strategy LT; working with Programme on mitigations to reduce or remove risks and issues
  • Strong Finance project management experience

The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • Knowledge to shape vision, roadmaps & plans on finance transformation workstreams within the Planning and Performance Management programme, both from a Project and adoption perspective
  • Communication with Finance & Strategy subject matter experts to define and produce viable solutions & ensuring they are contributing to workstream plans at the appropriate points
  • Decision making on model build, lead through detailed UAT and subsequent feedback
  • Anaplan experience is desirable to support underlying data transformation programmes
  • Flexible working from Reading and/or Hammersmith offices
