Job Description

6 Month Fixed Term Contract

The primary responsibility of the job holder is to prepare monthly accounting results for Mobile Interconnect revenues and costs, including the preparation of accruals, and rate/volume variance analysis. This includes accounting for Tesco Mobile and giffgaff recharges for Interconnect.

This role also supports the recovery of overdue payments related to International Roaming services, the maintenance of records, and preparation of the monthly Roaming payment run. It will interact closely with debtors and financial clearing houses, employing various methods to facilitate payment resolution

The must haves

In order to be considered, we would require you to have the following experience;

  • Knowledge of general ledger/balance sheet accounting processes is important
  • Advanced Excel, particularly Pivot Tables
  • Strong communication skills - able to explain accounting results and concepts
  • Ability to negotiate effectively in writing

The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • Prior experience in debt accounting, banking, or related fields is advantageous
  • An analytical mindset
  • Comfortable with deeper mathematical calculations/Excel formulas
  • Familiarity with skip tracing methods would be welcome but not crucial
