Job Description

The ER Case Partner is a subject matter expert with a sound understanding of current ER issues and employment legislation in order to support existing processes, policies and procedures. You will handle all people cases through to resolution, this will include reviewing grievances, mediation, supporting on employment tribunals.

A key part of the role will be providing advice to managers, coaching where required, attending meetings and updating notes. This will be a proactive role, reviewing data and identifying trends to put forward improvements in process and policies.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Must have previously worked within a Case Management/ER environment, with demonstrable track record of supporting complex case activity
  • Previous experience of delivering an advisory HR service or ER Solutions in a fast paced, dynamic HR environment.
  • Sound knowledge of employment law principles and current trends / recent changes.
  • Experience of leading Employment Tribunals, including developing a strategy, preparing bundles, acting as a witness and negotiating settlements.
  • Sound understanding of People policies and procedures, best practice and current thinking regarding effective and commercially sound employment practises.
  • Available for a 6-month contract.

  • Strong communication and coaching skills with a proven track record of being able to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Judgement to determine the right outcome balancing commercial needs and values-based morals.
  • Experience of developing, implementing and refreshing HR policies and processes.
