Job Description

At O2 Daisy, change isn’t something that just happens, we design it, plan it and land it with purpose, empathy and a little bit of magic. As our People Change Partner, you’ll be the strategic heartbeat behind our biggest people transformations, guiding the organisation through all kinds of shifts, from restructures and TUPE to M&A and everything in between.

You’ll work at the intersection of people, strategy and delivery, becoming the trusted advisor leaders turn to when they need clarity, confidence and a plan that actually works. You’ll shape our organisational design conversations, co‑create solutions with partners (including TU and Employee Reps), and design smart, refreshingly human change tools and frameworks that help teams deliver brilliantly.

Working collaboratively across the People Team, Legal, and wider business, you’ll bring cohesion to complex projects and ensure every change we make is joined‑up, intentional and aligned to the bigger picture.

And you do it all with curiosity, confidence and a true passion for helping people through change.This is a role with real impact shaping how O2 Daisy grows, navigates complexity and builds a future where people feel supported every step of the way

Who we are

A new B2B venture. Since bringing Virgin Media O2 Business and Daisy together in August, we’ve created a focused, digital-first B2B business serving customers across small, medium, and large enterprises, as well as the public sector. Powered by our next generation fixed and mobile infrastructure we offer a broad portfolio of best-in-class solutions - including cloud-based communication tools, voice and contact centre offerings and 5G private networks - to provide the technology that makes every business better.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale restructuring initiatives.
  • In depth knowledge of TUPE regulations and practical experience of handling large scale employee transfers
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, to meet rigorous timelines and ensure key achievements are reached.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR standard methodologies
  • Experience of working successfully with employee representatives/forums and trade unions
  • Proven track record to create strong recommendations on change approach, taking risks into account
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and manage expectations at all levels of the organisation
  • Collaborative attitude with the confidence to challenge constructively and lead discussions toward positive, actionable outcomes.
  • Ability to navigate sophisticated collaborator environments and adapt communication style to suit varied audiences and decision-making contexts.

The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • A curiosity for new ways of working – whether its agile practices, behavioural science, or innovative ways to organisational design, you enjoy exploring new ideas and bringing fresh thinking to how change happens.
  • Experience turning data into stories – you don’t need to be a data analyst, but being able to translate insights into meaningful, human‑centred narratives that influence leaders would be a bonus.

What's in it for you

Our goal is to celebrate our people, their lives and everything in-between. We aim to create a culture that empowers everyone to bring the best versions of themselves to work each and every day. We believe the most inclusive and diverse culture makes for a better business and a brighter world.

Working at O2 Daisy, you get a bumper reward package bursting with benefits, and loads of extras you can add if you’d like to. These are designed to support both you and your loved ones, making sure that you’re covered no matter what life throws your way.

Next steps

If we feel like a place where you can belong, we'd love to learn more about you as a person and your experience to date. Once you've submitted an application the next steps of the process, if successful, are likely to include a two stage interview process

When you apply, you'll be asked about any adjustments you might need to support the recruitment process. Let us know, and we'll be sure to discuss it with you.

Please note: Applications will be reviewed, and interviews conducted throughout the duration of this advert, therefore we may bring the closing date forward. We encourage all interested applicants to apply as soon as possible. If you’re offered a job with us, it will be conditional, based on the passing of background checks. All roles require a criminal record check and some roles need a financial probity check. Your recruiter can provide you with more information if needed.

Thanks for your patience and for showing an interest in joining the Virgin Media O2 family.
