Reimagining connectivity to supercharge the UK

Telecommunications

We're an award-winning fibre broadband provider & telecommunications company. We manage 47 million UK connections across broadband, mobile, TV and home phone and have around 18,000 colleagues, working hard to provide the very best connectivity to our valued customers.

Our aim is to bring 5G to 50% of the UK population by the end of 2023, in a sustainable and responsible way. We’ve committed to net zero carbon operations by 2025, with further commitments coming soon, which will focus on closing the digital divide and making connectivity more affordable and accessible to millions across the country.

Approach to inclusion

At Virgin Media O2 we're going All In, to remove bias and barriers for our people and our candidates. We're working hard to achieve bold ambitions, to help us better represent the diverse communities we serve across the UK. As an equal opportunities employer, we support and encourage you, to be your authentic self throughout your application journey.

Flexible working at Virgin Media O2

Our hybrid working approach, 'Work Smarter, Live Better' puts the future of work in your hands. Giving you more freedom and flexibility to decide where, when and how you work best, it gives you the ability to craft a working approach to suit your daily commitments.

Since we have such a wide variety of roles and teams, we know that one size most definitely doesn't fit all. So, instead we ask everyone to consider how they can find the right balance between what’s best for them, their colleagues, our business and our customers. Our best advice is to talk to your interviewers during the recruitment process to understand what this could look like for you.

Employee review

Fab company to work for, benefits are superb and certain roles give lots of autonomy and flexibility. I love it so much, I am still here after 16 years.

Employee review

I love the emphasis on ownership for every employee. Its not typical corporate and it is expected of me to take decisions and own them.

Employee review

The people always come first and it's a very non-hierarchical environment. All about team-play and I have a great team; we work well together, support one another and get the job done. We have flexibility to work effectively and make sure that we have an open-door policy where we can share and learn from one another. I feel very supported and lucky to be a part of a team that values it's employees.

Employee review

We have a very flexible working environment, including working from home as required and flexibility on hours worked. The flexibility means I can work around family commitments and I'm trusted to flex my hours up and down to get the job done. This is really valuable for me.
