Job Description

At Virgin Media O2, we’re combining the UK’s fastest broadband with its most loved mobile network to create a digital-first, customer-focused business. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Commercial Modelling Manager to help shape the future of our Consumer business.

In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of strategy and commercial decision-making. You’ll work on high-impact projects that drive growth, improve performance, and identify new opportunities across our Fixed and Mobile services. Your work will combine strategic thinking with hands-on modelling, helping the business make informed, data-driven decisions.

You’ll collaborate across teams to turn insight into action, designing and building models that influence pricing, propositions, and commercial planning. If you enjoy taking ownership of analysis, solving complex problems, and seeing your work directly impact business outcomes, this role is for you.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Strategy, you’ll join a supportive, high-performing team where your analytical expertise and ideas are valued—and your development is a priority.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • You'll have hands-on modelling expertise with advanced Excel skills and experience building robust financial or commercial models that inform business decisions.

  • Ability to break down complex or ambiguous problems, translate data into actionable insight, and assess business implications.

  • Comfortable analysing multiple data sources—from customer behaviour to financial performance—to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

  • Strong organisational skills to plan work effectively, manage timelines, and engage stakeholders across functions.

  • Proven track record in consulting, commercial strategy, or analytical roles at Manager level.

We'd also love you to bring;

  • Able to explain insights clearly to varied audiences, translating complex analysis into actionable recommendations.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Economics, Business, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar.

  • Enthusiasm for working closely with a team and across functions to deliver meaningful impact.

  • Self-motivated, inquisitive, and excited to solve challenging commercial problems.
