From supporting the rollout of hundreds of EV charging points across the United Utilities estate to monitoring innovative Battery Energy Storage Systems that enhance operational resilience, you'll contribute to projects that are helping shape the future of the business.

This is a busy and fast paced environment, so we're looking for someone who thrives on variety, can confidently manage competing priorities and remains calm under pressure. If you're highly organised, methodical in your approach and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a specialist team supporting critical Water and Wastewater operations.

  • Monitor EV charger availability across the estate, carrying out first line remote troubleshooting and system restarts where required.
  • Monitor Battery Energy Storage Systems and other innovative resilience technologies, providing first line remote support to maximise system availability.
  • Raise purchase orders, process payments and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, contractors and delivery partners.
  • Create pre construction information packs, project handover documentation and training materials to support the successful introduction of new assets and technologies.
  • Provide essential administrative and coordination support to the HV/LV team, helping ensure programmes are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience using SAP and associated management systems, alongside strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage project data, produce reports and support administrative processes effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to accurately record, interpret, manipulate and present information from multiple data sources, turning data into meaningful insights that support decision making.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with experience building positive working relationships with internal stakeholders, site-based teams, suppliers and external contractors.
  • A structured, organised and methodical approach, with a strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail and delivering high quality work in a busy environment.
  • The ability to prioritise effectively, manage competing demands and remain calm, focused and resilient under pressure.
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Why This Role
