TUI Group is a global leading tourism group. As a member of the MDAX on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, having a strong and experienced Investor Relations team is imperative. The Investor Relations team, based in Hannover and UK, is responsible for communicating the TUI equity story to the capital markets.

This is a key finance function, reporting directly to the CFO, with core analysis, accounting skills and governance knowledge a necessary requirement. As a member of this high-profile team you will contribute significantly to the understanding of TUI Group’s equity story by the investor and analyst community. This is a unique and diverse role for someone looking to blend their existing investor relations, company secretariat or capital markets experience. You will be someone who enjoys the fast pace and challenge of working for a large international business and will be delivery focussed. The role will suit someone who has an array of experience and is seeking to advance their interest and knowledge also in ESG with the aim to take over and becoming the team ESG lead. German language skills would be an advantage.

ABOUT THE JOB

In this varied Manager Investor Relations role, this is how you will make an impact:

  • Support preparation of content for external results announcements (full year and quarterly results presentations including Factbook)
  • Independent analysis of supporting material for the announcements, presentations, investor packs, annual report, press releases etc. (ability to identify variances, anomalies in supporting materials and having initiative to ask the next relevant question(s) in order to resolve, taking ownership in the data)
  • Support the IR team in preparing necessary publications according to German law and as well as listing rules
  • Support organisation and implementation of German General Shareholder Meetings
  • Help to further integrate our ‘Tourism: A force for good’ ESG strategy into investor communications, with scope to become team ESG lead
  • Support IR Team in creation and preparation of Internal Q&A
  • Critically assess analyst research and provide timely summary to IR Team and senior management
  • Critically assess analyst models vs. guidance and consensus and feeding back to analysts as appropriate
  • Help to respond to incoming queries from investors and analysts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in investor/analyst calls & meetings, roadshows and conferences (if appropriate) with a view to lead and conduct these independently in time, and lead on ESG topics
  • Monitor and analyse relevant news flow on TUI, update IR Team as relevant
  • Build and develop strong working relationship across Group functions (Board Office, Legal, Sustainability, Group finance, Strategy, M&A, Corporate Comms, etc.) and throughout the operating businesses
  • Contribute to the development of the overall strategy of the IR function
  • Ad-hoc analysis and project works as required

ABOUT YOU

  • You will have worked in a global, complex, fast paced environment, be able to understand the key financial drivers of a business and will have had exposure to a broad range of business challenges
  • You will be highly motivated, delivery focussed and a strong team player
  • Knowledge of German language (spoken and written) is favourable for this role
  • Strong understanding of financials, accounting and corporate governance matters is required
  • You will have the ability to translate KPI’s, data and insight into written presentation and reports
  • Excellent MS Office skills – in particular Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and web technologies
  • Excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail and good project management skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently and prioritise activities
  • Good interpersonal skills with self-confidence to be able to communicate effectively and appropriately with the most senior management team in the company
  • Able to work effectively with different teams based on different geographies
  • Flexibility to travel
