As Manager Portfolio Management you will be a valued member of TUI Hotels & Resorts Portfolio Management team. The Portfolio Management function is at the forefront of TUI Hotels & Resorts long term strategy development overseeing our more than 420 hotels & resorts globally. The team is driving projects in close collaboration with our hotel partners and other group functions such as Group Strategy, M&A, Controlling and Finance & Accounting. The team acts as business partners for Senior Leadership and supports and develops the strategic agenda of TUI Hotels & Resorts. The nature of the work is characterized by internationalism, diversity, agility and complexity.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Manage key strategic projects across TUI Hotels & Resorts with a wide range of topics, e.g. asset transformation, business development, sustainability, distribution and digitalisation
  • Act as a business partner for Senior Leaders in project and change management
  • Managing multi-stakeholder environments ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects
  • Prepare professional analysis, presentations and ad-hoc reports for the top management to take rigorously fact based decisions
  • Continuously contributing to the team’s knowledge with high quality inputs, analysis and perspectives
  • Actively support the business transformation, ensuring the execution of the strategic initiatives across TUI Hotels & Resorts

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong MS Excel, MS PowerPoint skills required; good understanding of business intelligence tools will be a benefit to the role (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire, etc.)
  • A strong educational background combined with a track record of successful business/strategy development and/or management consulting projects, preferably in the tourism/hotel or any other asset industry
  • Relevant experience in managing complex projects in agile, international environments as well as multi-stakeholder structures
  • Strong financial acumen, a passion for strategic analysis and thinking, combined with a hands-on mentality
  • Stakeholder management skills, convincing understanding of your area of expertise and ability communicate fact-based management recommendations
  • Driven, hard-working, proactive and results oriented
  • Effective and reliable team player with strong work ethics and the ability to work in agile teams
  • Organized, fast-paced, flexible as well as an analytical way of thinking
  • Fluency in English, German as a plus
