Job Description

As a Senior Finance Analyst within the FP&A team you will be in a high-profile role that helps to support the entire UK&I business and the wider Markets & Airline FP&A team. The role covers a wide remit including analysing and challenging the P&L, KPI and capex performance. The responsibility of this role moves as dynamically as the business and will require you to work in a flexible and timely manner across a multitude of areas, which comes with great growth potential. The role is hugely customer focused and you will business partner reporting teams throughout the UK&I business as well as Markets & Airlines, Group and directly liaise with senior exec.

The role is based in Luton, but at TUI we believe work is something you do not somewhere you go. We believe in offering as much flexibility to the individual on whether they work from an office or elsewhere. With this flexibility in mind, please note you will be expected to attend the office on average at least one day per week – which genuinely offers a great office and home life balance.

Monthly performance reporting – end-to-end analysis and reporting of Flash and Actuals performance for the P&L and Operational Cashflow (OCF) including ownership of KPI, SDI, Capex, headcount and FTE reporting

Line management of the FP&A finance analyst

Systems knowledge –Act as HFM champion and recommend changes to ensure the most effective use of the system. Become an expert in other relevant UK reporting systems (SAP, Essbase, etc.) to facilitate consistency and transparency of accounting data within TUI UK

Market monitoring – provide information packs on competitor result announcements and support decision makers with factbases on competitors, markets or products

Budgeting and Strategic Planning – Support the strategic planning process (3YP and budget). Ensuring all P&L and KPIs submissions are correctly reflected in HFM, as well as preparing P&L / KPI analysis and assist with creating the supporting presentation packs

Forecasting – manage the reporting timetable for P&L, OCF and KPI forecasts. Prepare P&L and OCF forecast analysis, including consolidation and analysis of R&O
