The FlexScore® is the result of a rigorous 2-step verification of a company’s flexibility
First we assess the flexibility options FitXR provides and then we anonymously survey a statistically significant proportion of their employees to make sure FitXR is as flexible as they say they are. Our assessment is based on the six key elements of flexibility: location, hours, autonomy, benefits, role modelling and work-life balance.
We ask the hard questions so you don’t have to.
What FitXR employees think
Unlimited annual leave is very much supported by leadership.
They do provide unlimited leave, and great paternity leave.
We have unlimited leave, and it's treated in exactly that way - nobody really questions anybody when they take time off. My boss even encouraged me to take extra time off to ensure my MBA (outside of work) was getting the attention it needs.
We're very supported in our remote first environment and ability to work flexibly.
I believe the core values, and what FitXR stands for, to be admirable - it's a great workplace, that I enjoy being part of.
Love working here! Non judgmental, encouraging and supporting environment.
FitXR offers a great level of flexibility to work from anywhere, giving me freedom to make life choices and help connect with a talented team globally.
Working at FitXR
Gender diversity (male:female:non-binary)
FitXR is working at the cutting edge of VR and MR; we’re a funded scale-up on a mission to impact more lives than any other fitness company, and build a healthier world for everyone. We’re one of the top-downloaded apps on the Meta Quest store. We’ve raised close to $40m from top investors such as Maveron, Hiro, BoostVC and TriplePoint.
We’re a remote team of just under 100 people from across the US, UK, and Spain, and we’re committed to making it simpler and more enjoyable for people to get moving. We believe that anybody can make movement part of their life.
The FitXR app contains a growing range of fitness studios, where members can choose from box workouts with world-class trainers like Olympian Nicola Adams, powerful HIIT workouts, and immersive dance classes. While nothing compares to trying it yourself, you can watch a trailer here.
We’re guided by our Principles of Play: eight core beliefs (it’s a lot, we know! We’re working on it 😎) about how we treat each other and our community. We make space for every voice, believe in the importance of a learner’s mindset, and prioritize team success over individual glory
Flexible working at FitXR
We run a remote-first strategy, with a deep commitment to ensuring that we are a truly flexible place to work. Our remote-first strategy enables people to be employed in the US, UK and Spain, as well as supporting EOR arrangements in non-employable countries. We operate core hours 10am to 4.30pm within your time zone. Finally, we are open for roles to be considered on a part-time basis, within a job share, or with a flexible work schedule.
We offer a flexible benefits policy which allows for working parents to discuss what matters most to them and build a plan that aligns with their needs e.g. reduced hours, different work schedule split parental leave.
In addition to these fantastic benefits, we also offer our employees unlimited annual leave, stock options, a £400 work from home allowance, enhanced parental leave, bi-annual company retreat and more.
What do we think of FitXR?
The COVID-19 pandemic has made us big fans of a home workout, so I'm really pleased that FitXR have joined us on the Flexa platform. As a fellow remote-first company, we're really impressed by their approach to flexibility, particularly going the extra mile with wellness and learning budgets (the latter from our friends at Learnerbly!).
