Job Description

**This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months**

This vacancy can be located at any of our headquarters within the market locations.
This role sits within Analytics Sales Platform of our Customer Analytics & Data Solutions Division and reports into the Lead Digital Analyst.

As a Digital Analyst you will transform data into actionable insights that drive business improvements and enhance customer experience. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, creating compelling reports and visualizations that support data-driven decision making as we work towards becoming the leader in technology within the travel industry.

ABOUT OUR OFFER

  • Personal benefits: Attractive remuneration, discretionary bonus schemes, generous travel benefits, extensive health & well-being support, and more.
  • Flexible working: Work is something you do, not somewhere you go. We encourage a healthy work-life balance with a dynamic working environment.
  • A career to shape: Access the TUI Learning Hub to level-up and reach your ambitions.
  • Broaden your network: We champion intercultural collaboration and provide opportunities to work on global projects and teams.
  • Community: Get involved with incredible local charity and sustainability initiatives like the TUI Care Foundation.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You'll collect, process, and analyze data from various sources to provide insights that support business objectives, extracting data from relevant systems, cleaning and preparing it for analysis, and identifying trends and patterns that drive business value.
  • Creating and maintaining regular reports and dashboards will be central to your role, as you build and update visualizations in tools like Tableau and Power BI, producing performance reports that effectively communicate key metrics to stakeholders with clarity and impact.
  • Responding to ad-hoc data and analysis requests means you'll provide timely and accurate information to support business needs, clarifying requirements, prioritizing multiple requests, and delivering analysis within agreed timeframes while documenting approaches for future reference.
  • You'll identify and investigate data anomalies and discrepancies, monitoring key metrics for unexpected changes, investigating root causes of data issues, and working with relevant teams to resolve problems and ensure data quality.
  • Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to understand business context and requirements ensures your analytics work delivers relevant and valuable insights, as you participate in requirements gathering meetings, translate business questions into analytical approaches, and present findings to business stakeholders.
  • Supporting the implementation and adoption of analytics tools and capabilities will be part of your day-to-day, as you create user guides, provide basic training to business users, promote data-driven decision making, and help build a data-driven culture within the organization.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have advanced education in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience in analytics or reporting.
  • Proven experience in analytics or reporting demonstrates your ability to transform data into actionable insights, with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools including Excel, GA4, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Your data storytelling skills and ability to communicate analysis results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders show you can explain complex data clearly and make information accessible.
  • Understanding of basic statistical concepts including A/B testing, combined with basic knowledge of SQL or other data query languages, enables you to perform robust analysis and extract data efficiently.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy ensure you deliver reliable insights that support business decision making.
  • Managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and taking a collaborative approach to working with teams and stakeholders comes naturally to you.
  • Experience in travel, hospitality, or e-commerce industries would be beneficial, as would knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, understanding of customer journey and funnel analysis, experience with additional programming languages, data visualization best practices, agile environments, and data governance principles.

From a workplace to a place to belong. At TUI we embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, encouraging everyone to come as you are, because together, our potential is limitless.

We are committed to supporting candidates with disabilities and impairments so if you require any support, please do let us know.
