We're looking for a passionate Business Development Executive to join our Australian branch of Intercruises, driving the commercial success of our brand across Australia.

ABOUT THE JOB
- You'll be responsible for the commercial development of the Australian cruise business for assigned clients and managing commercial relationships with suppliers.
- Preparing financial and content proposals according to client specifications and deadlines will be a key part of your role.
- Through strategic negotiation with clients and suppliers, you'll achieve competitive rates and attractive margins.
- You'll communicate with cruise line clients concerning ongoing Requests for Proposal as well as ad hoc quotation requests.
- Acquiring new cruise business by participating in RFPs and hunting new opportunities will keep you engaged.
- Working with the Operations & Port Delivery teams, you'll ensure alignment between quoted and delivered services whilst providing support for ad hoc quotation requests.
ABOUT YOU
- You bring proven experience in the cruise and/or tourism industry.
- Your comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and tourism trends in Australia sets you apart.
- With experience in sales or account management (preferably in the tourism industry), you know how to build lasting relationships.
- Your strong commercial mindset comes with proven negotiation skills and a successful record of closing deals and building strategic partnerships.
- Understanding of digital components and new industry standards (especially API-based connectivity, channel managers, and reservation technologies) will be an advantage.
