The Senior Product
Manager EMEA is passionate about product creative concepting, relationship
building, project management, process, and people.

This leader
and team player brings proven skills in strategy execution, product development
and organizational process. He or she works with cross-functional teams to
improve our relationships and support growth opportunities for the GMS EMEA business
in partnership with the Starbucks EMEA organization and other customers.

While working
together with internal and external teams, the ideal candidate models strong
communication skills and quickly recognizes and clears holdups within the
company and customer organizations, moving opportunities forward. He or she has
exceptional organization, problem-solving, prioritization and communication
skills and builds high quality relationships that provide a platform for
influencing individuals at all levels in the organization.

Manager EMEA creates successful product assortments and product innovation best
practices. Managing multiple programs concurrently and often in the face of
great ambiguity, he or she models composure, professionalism and a bias towards

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION

Product Management

·      
Key
point-of-contact for EMEA product management and development. Manage all aspects of regional strategies and
assortments within the global brand priorities.

·      
Development:

o  
Ensures product ranges meet regional and partnership
needs— style design, materials, function, size, features, and CMF (Color/Material/Finish).

o  
Identifies and presents specific regional market
needs, partner needs and consumer trends supporting development focus in
market.

o  
Presents product and graphics briefs
to cross functional team.

o  
Partners closely with the Graphic Design and Account
Management Teams

o  
Presents seasonal assortments to customer and manages feedback with internal teams.

o  
Manages information sharing and
leverages knowledge across the PM team globally.

o  
Reviews and approves product samples.

Creates:

o  
Concept for each product style using graphics from
design team, trend related CMF (Color, material, finish) and an eye for product
specific creative solutions.

o  
Cohesive assortments utilizing customer brief and
selling data across materials and regions, aligned with overarching customer
regional product strategy and aesthetic.

o  
Product management timelines—both standard and custom.

o  
Customer facing presentation decks.

Drives:

o  
On time, compliant and on brand product and all
product deliverables.

o  
Alignment on program presentations – both internal and
customer facing.

o  
Deadlines and priorities of day-to-day business
requirements.

o  
Regional program priorities considering balance of
long and short-term customer needs.  

o  
Development of multiple products and customer programs
on schedule, in parallel on the same timeline.

nurtures, and develops customer relationships through meeting customer's
deliverables, supporting needs, gaining trust, and exceeding expectations.

and showcases deep understanding of our customer's Brand, strategy, and priorities.

gains and showcases full understanding of customer's business, market needs and
decision-making approach.

gains and showcases a solid understanding of customer's consumer in region and market.

·       Partners,
supports, and guides key stakeholders and cross-functional team members on
customer needs, processes, back-end support, timelines and deliverables so projects
are completed on time and in full.

provides timely project status information and contact reports for line manager
and cross-functional team.

maximises business performance and opportunities.

·       Develops
process requirements, builds alignment of stakeholders, constructs timelines
and deliverables, manages regular cadence meetings to keep projects on time.

·       Leads
the execution of EMEA product management and service level plan, schedule of
deliverables, and financials aligned with business performance goals.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

·       7-10+
years’ work experience developing products with consumer hard goods brand
experience.

·       3+
years’ experience working with teams and customers across regions and time
zones.

·       Experience
with EMEA based or operating customers, FMCG, fashion and/or large specialty
coffee chains.

·       Consistent
track record of building new and maintaining existing successful product
categories.

·       Solid
understanding of principles of the Product Development process, Project
Management, Product Design, Surface Design and Manufacturing.

·       Excellent
written and oral communication and presentation skills, communicating
effectively and projecting a professional image when giving and receiving
information.

·      
Well organized and able to
work independently, advancing multiple complex projects concurrently in a
highly dynamic environment. Adept at managing priorities in development.

·      
Initiative taking and task prioritization,
demonstrating excellent time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and
problem-solving skills.

·      
Ability to self-manage
large amounts of information and catch errors.

·      
Works effectively with
individuals and groups at all organizational levels, establishing relationships
