Why this role?We're looking for a Data Scientist to join our Operational Excellence team at Tesco Insurance & Money Services.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing data function within our Claims business, where you'll use advanced analytics and insight to solve complex problems, improve customer outcomes, and drive meaningful business impact. What you’ll be doing • Creation, maintenance and the continuous improvement of our new predictive models within our claims department.• You’ll need to apply data science techniques to model customer behaviours to drive better decision making, a better customer journey, improved business outcomes and cost controls.• Adherence to our governance framework to keep our data safe.
What we’re looking for (minimum criteria) • Previous experience working with Microsoft Fabric (or Databricks) to create and maintain AI/ML models• Experience working with large, complicated datasets.• An ability to manage own workload and re-prioritise when required.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent communication skills to share insights with technical and non-technical audiences.
And if you have any of these, even better • Experience within Financial Services, Banking, or a similarly regulated commercial environment is advantageous.
