Job Title: Content writer, PracticeWeb

Reports to: Production editor

Location: Bristol/Hybrid

Hours: Part time (22.5 hours per week)

Salary: £22,500 - £24,000 (Pro rata)

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated content writer to join our PracticeWeb team. As a content writer, you will be responsible for producing compelling and engaging content focussed on accountancy and business topics. You will contribute to a variety of content types including PracticeWeb’s white-label content products, client blogging, news, website copywriting, ebooks and insight reports.

Working closely with the editorial team you’ll be responsible for:

  • Producing high-quality articles, ebooks, and newsletters for PracticeWeb's white-label content product.
  • Researching, writing, and managing blog posts and content campaigns for a portfolio of clients.
  • Writing daily news stories for client websites.
  • Collaborating with designers and the commercial team to generate creative concepts that combine creativity and UX copywriting best practices.
  • Conducting content calendar consultations with clients to define their unique tones of voice, brand messages, and points of differentiation.
  • Assisting in the development and production of social media content for clients.

What we’d like from you

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to produce precise and engaging content.
  • Experience in copywriting, creating compelling and tightly constructed copy.
  • Confident in facilitating discussions and explaining the marketing and creative process to clients.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and blogging platforms, such as WordPress.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Office Suite, Canva, Adobe Spark.
    Knowledge of UX copywriting principles.
  • Experience or understanding of how AI can be used as a tool to improve writing, generate ideas and develop content that adheres to tone of voice.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
