What Prolific employees think
I've never worked at a company that has a more open, trusting and flexible minded approach to getting your work done and tangibly empowering people to do it in a way that works for them
Prolific is by far the most flexible company I've worked for and it feels like they really care about the well-being of our team.
I am literally writing this from Malaysia, where I am spending two months of time as I'm taking care of an ill family member. I work my focus time from my mornings as it's seven hours ahead, and take all of my meetings from 12-3pm UK time (which ends around 10pm for me). This is incredible. I never have to worry about whether people would question me about this, which is means the world when I have a huge, international, stressful situation! I'm so grateful to work here.
I love working at Prolific it's super flexible! There are also lots of great initiatives that definitely add to the flexibility we see at Prolific.
I love the fact we do have an office space but there's no obligation to go in. If I'm feeling tired/busy I can stay home and focus but if I want to meet up with colleagues and see some people face to face I can go in and there's almost always someone to go grab lunch with.
I also really appreciate the allowance to have meetups in our teams. We took a trip to Lisbon in Q2 to meet up as a department and, given that we work remotely most of the time, it was a great way to get to know each other better and bond as a team.
I love being able to work remotely with flexible hours. We also have a hub in London that can be used regularly by people who prefer to be in an office. I personally use this for occasional team in-person meet ups which I enjoy.
We're currently trialling summer hours on a Friday which I've really appreciated, allowing me to switch off a bit more and enjoy the weekend.
Best working environment I've ever had!
I have so much flexibility in setting how I work for the day compared to any other company I've ever worked out. I'm able to go to the gym at lunch, start at 10am and finish later all with no questions ask. They just want me to deliver good work and they trust that I'll get the job done without slacking.
Such a fab place to work!
Everyone at Prolific is very kind and helpful. I am given freedom to work in the way that works best for me and I never feel micromanaged or pressured to work overtime. I feel that others respect my time and value what I do.

Flexible working at Prolific
Prolific has always been passionate about creating and maintaining a flexible workplace. We are a remote-first organisation, meaning you can work from home, from our dog-friendly office hub in Shoreditch, or a local co-working space. We have flexible hours plus shorter hours in the summer and we trust you to give your best to make Prolific succeed. Both contractors and employees are treated with the same internal autonomy. We offer a work from home allowance, and encourage you to make a home office that you love.
And yes, even with all this autonomy, we still love to collaborate with fun quarterly meet-ups and socials virtually and in person. This year our teams have had the opportunity to spend time together in Montenegro, Glasgow, Lisbon, Berlin and more to come!
Approach to diversity & inclusion
Prolific is an equal opportunity employer.
We celebrate differences, it's one of our core Prolific principles. The more diverse and inclusive we become the better for all of us.
Our diversity makes us who we are and drives our success. We want to be a workplace that celebrates differences and where people can bring their full selves to work, free from prejudice.
Our culture reflects this; from our everyday behaviours to the way we remove barriers that prevent people from succeeding in their careers at Prolific.
We are fully committed to ensuring our business is representative of the communities that we serve and are taking actions towards achieving this 💫
What do we think of Prolific?
Prolific started off their accreditation with extremely high expectations due to their brilliant employer benchmark quiz and continued to excel throughout the anonymous employee feedback stage. We had a higher than average participation and the overall feedback was excellent. Candidates should really take note of these combined high scores and the overall flexibility from Prolific, and definitely apply should a relevant role become available.
Meet who might be hiring you
