Overview
The Strategic Initiatives, Creative Delivery Lead strengthens SAP’s Brand & Creative team by driving operational excellence rooted in ownership, curiosity, collaboration, and customer value. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, workflow innovation, and technical enablement, this role designs and scales the systems, processes, tooling (including AI capabilities) that empower creative teams to perform at their best, while leading thoughtful change management that ensures new behaviors and ways-of-working are adopted, sustained, and deliver measurable impact. Impact is defined as improved resource utilization, quality control and creative process alignment.
With the support of Creative, Brand Strategy, Account Management, Marketing, and Technology teams, you will work to ensure strategic alignment, reduce friction, simplify how we work, and enable rapid, high-quality delivery—guiding teams through transformation with clarity and care, and always prioritizing what is best for SAP and our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Leadership
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives that evolve our creative operating model, elevating transparency, speed, and alignment.
- Align across marketing functions to ensure that the vision for Brand’s creative operations is consistent with Global Marketing’s operating model.
- Anticipate gaps and proactively design scalable solutions that support SAP Brand & Creative team's operational delivery.
- Build roadmaps, frameworks, and measurable outcomes that reinforce accountability and shared success.
Creative Workflow & Process Optimization
- Reimagine, document, and continuously refine creative workflows with a focus on clarity, consistency, and removing internal friction.
- Establish scalable ways of working that support aligned decision-making and empower teams to move quickly.
- Champion continuous improvement by listening to diverse perspectives, soliciting feedback, and iterating openly.
- Assist with high-impact, high-visibility projects that require an agile team convening to meet executive-level projects.
AI Integration, Training & Adoption
- Lead the effort to introduce and scale AI-tools and workflows within the Brand & Creative team — with a focus on viability, adoption, and impact.
- Collaborate openly across teams to pilot solutions, gather feedback, and refine use cases that accelerate productivity and creativity.
- Establish guidelines, best practices, and quality guardrails for AI-assisted creative work.
- Drive change-management efforts grounded in clarity, transparency, and two‑way communication.
- Stay curious and actively explore emerging AI capabilities to unlock opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
Cross‑Functional Operations & Communication
- Serve as an operational connector across Brand Strategy, Account Management, Marketing, and Technology teams.
- Create clear, candid, and accessible communication channels, dashboards, and updates that improve alignment and trust.
- Facilitate cross-team decision-making by surfacing dependencies, risks, and insights openly.
Resource, Capacity & Demand Management
- Partner with Brand & Creative leaders to anticipate resourcing needs, support prioritization, and maintain clear visibility into workload and capacity.
- Strengthen intake and prioritization frameworks that enable Creative teams to focus on meaningful outcomes.
- Use data and insights to support proactive planning and responsible decision-making.
Performance Measurement & Insights
- Partner with Brand & Creative team leadership to define KPIs that measure efficiency, throughput, tooling impact, and operational health.
- Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms that help leadership act with clarity and confidence.
- Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement through transparent insights and feedback loops.
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of experience in Creative Operations, Creative Delivery or Program/Project Management.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end creative production workflows across brand, design, copy, video, and digital.
- Experience implementing or administering creative tooling and AI solutions.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a bias toward ownership and action.
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and build trusted relationships across teams.
- Analytical, data-driven mindset with comfort navigating systems and process complexity.
- Experience leading operational transformation or change initiatives is a strong plus.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 121,800 - 255,700 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
