Role Purpose
Drive growth of SAP’s Procurement solutions across the Middle East and Africa through ecosystem expansion, enablement, and strategic partner development. This role is responsible for co-creating and operationalizing regional go-to-market strategies with key ecosystem partners, ensuring alignment with SAP’s indirect strategy and accelerating cloud adoption in Procurement
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Development & Coverage Strategy
Build and execute a multi-year ecosystem development plan focused on sourcing, onboarding, and scaling strategic partners (VARs, system integrators, digital agencies, etc.) with Procurement domain expertise. - Joint Business Planning & Execution
Lead disciplined, data-driven joint planning with partners to develop practice maturity and jointly capture market opportunities around SAP Ariba and related procurement solutions. - Demand Generation & Enablement
Design and orchestrate marketing, enablement, and partner-led demand generation activities, helping partners scale their SAP Procurement business and accelerate pipeline creation. - Capability Building
Identify capability gaps and establish enablement tracks across sales, presales, delivery, and customer success to ensure readiness and autonomy in the MEA region. - Ecosystem Orchestration
Act as the single point of contact for managed partners across the lifecycle, coordinating with internal SAP stakeholders (Sales, Solution Advisors, Marketing, Delivery, etc.) to maximize partner success and customer value. - Thought Leadership & Market Impact
Represent SAP’s Procurement vision in the ecosystem, contributing to regional events, partner forums, and co-innovation initiatives. Help amplify SAP’s competitive differentiation in MEA
Profile Requirement
- Experience
5–10 years in ecosystem development, channel management, or business development roles within the technology or procurement space, ideally with exposure to SAP or similar enterprise software. - Domain Expertise
Strong understanding of Procurement transformation , including topics like Source-to-Pay (S2P), supplier collaboration, spend analytics, and sustainability in supply chains. Domain expertise in our oCFO solution portfolio is an additional plus. - Regional Acumen
Proven experience working in or with MEA markets; deep appreciation of cultural, economic, and political nuances that influence partner success and customer adoption. - Competencies
