What you will do

We’re looking for a visionary Chief Brand and Creative Officer to take our story — and its impact — to the next level.

As our Chief Brand & Creative Officer, you’ll be the strategic and creative force behind our brand — defining and driving a cohesive identity, voice, and experience across all touchpoints. You’ll lead global brand strategy, and creative ensuring you set the standards and impact work across all channels. This role demands a unique blend of strategic rigor, creative excellence, collaboration with many stakeholders, and inspiring leadership.

You’ll join our global marketing leadership team and be responsible for shaping the perception and power of our brand to accelerate business growth, deepen emotional connection, and drive long-term equity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Leadership
    • Own and evolve the global brand strategy, positioning, and architecture in line with company vision and business priorities.
    • Ensure consistency of brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all internal and external channels.
    • Champion brand as a strategic asset, with clear frameworks to measure, manage, and grow brand equity.
  • Creative Excellence
    • Lead an in-house creative organization and manage external agency relationships to deliver breakthrough work across channels
    • Directly lead and collaborate with creatives across the organization.
    • Establish world-class creative standards and ensure brand expression is bold, relevant, and emotionally resonant.
    • Creative effective creative at brand through to demand, for events, and beyond
    • Drive innovation in storytelling through emerging formats, technologies, and platforms.
  • Leadership & Influence
    • Build and mentor a high-performing, multidisciplinary global team across brand, design, enablement, and creative operations.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CMO and executive peers, influencing business decisions with brand-led thinking.
    • Foster a culture of creativity, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership
    • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Communications, HR, and Digital Experience to embed the brand in every stage of the customer and employee journey.
    • Align brand efforts with go-to-market strategies and revenue goals.

What you will bring

  • 15+ years of experience in brand and creative leadership roles, including ideally at least 5 years in a senior executive position within a global, consumer-facing or enterprise tech brand.
  • Proven success building and scaling iconic brands with measurable business impact.
  • Visionary thinker and storyteller with a strong creative point of view — and the operational chops to bring it to life.
  • Deep brand strategy experience, in particular with naming, brand architecture, and messaging
  • Deep understanding of design systems, integrated marketing, digital platforms, and emerging media.
  • Inspirational leader who builds high-performing teams and fosters a creative, inclusive culture.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and presentation skills at the board and C-suite level.
  • Global mindset and ability to lead in a matrixed, high-growth environment.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 360700 - 613200 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
