Function: GBS

Why join Rolls-Royce?

At Rolls-Royce we are proud to be a business that has truly helped to shape the modern world and are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere. Join Rolls-Royce and you could have the opportunity to work in a world-class engineering environment, supported by a culture that believes individuality is our greatest strength, and all perspectives, experiences and backgrounds help us innovate and enable our high-performance culture.

Job Purpose:

The Team Lead – CRP Services will lead the GBS team in India in supporting the Civil Aerospace Service Business team in Derby throughout the end-to-end Contract Review Pack process. The role is accountable for day-to-day service delivery, data management, variance and forecast impact analysis, reporting, automation, controls and stakeholder coordination to enable accurate financial forecasting for aftermarket service contracts.

Role Overview:

The role leads a small team of analysts responsible for operating controlled CRP processes across multiple systems, executive data sources, Excel, Power BI and purpose-built tools. It ensures the CRP window is delivered accurately, on time and in line with required controls, while driving continuous improvement, automation, resource planning, quality reviews and team development. The Team Lead acts as the primary operational link between the GBS India team and Derby-based Service Business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the GBS India CRP Services team to deliver an excellent level of service to the Derby-based Civil Aerospace Service Business team.
  • Manage the identified elements of the end-to-end operational delivery of Contract Review Pack processes across multiple systems, tools and data sources within agreed timelines and controls.
  • Oversee master data management, standardisation and integration across platforms and applications, ensuring data quality supports accurate financial forecasting.
  • Own and drive automation and process improvement opportunities using advanced Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, VBA and other relevant tools to improve accuracy, control and efficiency.
  • Manage workflow, resource allocation, service levels and monthly quality reviews in collaboration with Derby-based stakeholders and leadership.
  • Lead the setup, revision and documentation of CRP processes, including Standard Operating Procedures, controls and continuous improvement actions.
  • Line manage, coach and develop analysts, including performance monitoring, capability building, individual development planning and collaborative problem solving.

Key Experiences and Qualifications:

5–8 years of relevant experience in data management, financial analytics, forecasting support, reporting, process improvement or business operations, including experience leading a team or coordinating delivery through others. Aerospace, supply chain, aftermarket services or financial planning experience is desirable. The recommended grade range for this role is GG9–GG10, reflecting a team lead position with operational accountability, stakeholder ownership, people-management responsibility and delivery of continuous improvement across the CRP process.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Graduate or engineering degree with strong analytical, numerical and business problem-solving capability.
  • Experience leading, coaching or coordinating analysts in a time-bound operational or forecasting process.
  • Strong data analytics, variance analysis, interpretation and reporting capability.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capability, including complex data handling, controls and reporting.
  • Experience working with databases, structured data, master data management and reporting outputs.
  • Strong stakeholder management, relationship management and communication skills, including working with UK-based stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain process discipline, accuracy, service levels and controls within defined CRP window timelines.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Power BI reporting, dashboard development and data visualisation capability.
  • Python, SQL, PLSQL and VBA for automation and data processing.
  • Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), data integration and reporting experience.
  • Oracle Hyperion Planning or similar financial planning system experience.
  • Standard Operating Procedure preparation, documentation and control framework experience.
  • Lean, continuous improvement or process improvement experience.
