An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital & Automation Engineer to join our team in Singapore. This role is responsible for executing tasks on the development & roll-out of digital technologies meant for improving the performance of integrated processes for our global factories and sites.

To provide knowledge, expertise and guidance in factory automation. Good experience in industrial robotic, digital solutions & system integration.

Key Accountabilities

  • Devise, deploy, and oversee the in-house Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) platform (PTC Kepware, PTC ThingWorx, Siemens Insights Hub, Siemens Mendix, Microsoft Azure)
  • Lead, develop and deploy IIoT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) pipelines in the production environment (Computer vision, Equipment Health and Process Health Monitoring)
  • Integrate real-time data from sensors, IIoT devices, and other sources into IIoT platform.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data
  • Facilitate IT/OT integrations (PLC, Edge Devices, IoT Platform, Maximo, SAP, MES, etc)
  • Work with engineers, product owners and end-users to develop and deploy IIoT solutions with the right business goals.
  • Communicate insights and findings to stakeholders, making complex concepts accessible to non-technical team members.
  • Project manage & ensure that projects meet deadlines, stay within budget, and adhere to quality standards.
  • Actively participate in roadmapping and strategy development activities for the overall IIoT workstream with key stakeholders

Key Experiences and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in IIoT Platforms, specifically with expertise in PTC Kepware/ThingWorx, Siemens Insights Hub/ Mendix and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with OT/IT integration including PLCs, OPC UA, MQTT, Industrial communication protocols, MES/ERP systems.
  • Technical proficiency and experience in programming languages (JavaScript, SQL, etc) Knowledgeable in DevOps, IIoT, AI and advanced factory automation.
  • An ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking to a range of technical problems.
  • Knowledgeable & some experience in Project management requirements & standards.
