What you'll do 🏡💻

This person will be responsible for developing, organizing, and executing automation quality assurance test plans and test cases in accordance with the development process for new software products. They will participate in Team meetings and work closely with Developers and Product Owner to understand the functionality improvements that need to be delivered, through testing.

The role sits within our WFM product development team. You will be working as the sole Automation QA for 5 developers, plus the Development Manager. We are looking for someone to come in and write automated test cases from scratch, collaborating with a team split across the UK, Bulgaria and Australia!

Key responsibilities:

• You will work closely with the development team and business to understand the product requirements. Participation in all team meetings.
• You will analyse the requirements and build test plans accordingly.
• You will be responsible for the functional testing and feedback of the features in the product.
• You will be responsible for building automated product testing during the development and the release stages of new software.
• You will write the automated QA tests.
• You’ll be working with Jira, TestRail + Postman for API testing.
• Analyse and report on the overall status of the product’s progress.

You should have 💪

• Experience as an Automation Quality Assurance Engineer
• Backend and API testing experience
• SQL Scripting / Server knowledge
• Knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycle
• Strong analytical skills, creative and critical thinking ability and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with relevant quality assurance industry standard best practices and methodologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent English

• Bachelor’s or higher degree (or qualified through experience)
• Frontend/UI testing experience
• Docker (or similar Virtual Machine container) experience
• Selenium
• T-SQL is ideal
• Jira
• TestRail
• Postman
• C#, Java or similar coding languages would be beneficial

The location

This role is based in our Bulgarian office within the NV Tower, 1756 Sofia. We work on a hybrid model, usually with 2 days/week in the office, the rest working from home.
