About the role

BT Sourced is the procurement and supply chain partner to BT Group, delivering strategic sourcing, commercial expertise, supplier management, and transformation activity across a global business. Our teams work with stakeholders and suppliers around the world to drive value, innovation, and operational excellence.

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Connectivity Procurement team in Dublin. This is a role with global reach that combines procurement, project management, stakeholder engagement, operational coordination, and data analysis. You’ll be part of a supportive team and will work closely with regional colleagues across Europe, AMEA, and the Americas. You'll play a key role in large-scale sourcing and renewal programmes, coordinating global teams, and driving strategic procurement outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Running global sourcing activities from end to end, partnering with procurement colleagues across multiple regions.
  • Supporting major global procurement programmes, including strategic sourcing and renewal initiatives.
  • Leading and facilitating senior stakeholder meetings to review priorities, progress, risks, and performance.
  • Coordinating procurement activity across global teams to ensure alignment and delivery against objectives.
  • Working with Finance, Product, Operations, Sales, and Procurement teams to identify commercial opportunities and drive efficiencies.
  • Project managing strategic procurement and business opportunities on a global scale.
  • Supporting internal business units on bids and complex customer requirements with creative supply chain solutions.
  • Analysing data and generating insights to support decision making, operational management, and procurement strategy.
  • Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of global procurement strategies, processes, and ways of working.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and wider BT Group teams to maintain momentum across complex workstreams.

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Proven procurement experience within a fast-paced commercial or procurement environment.
  • Experience in end-to-end sourcing activities or RFPs involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior business leaders.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and driven, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and maintain progress across high-value global initiatives.

Desirable Skills / Experience

  • Project management experience within large-scale procurement or commercial programmes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of supplier capabilities, commercial models, and procurement finance.
  • Experience working across global or multinational stakeholder groups.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Product, and Sales functions.
  • Experience using data and insights to support procurement strategy and operational decision making.
  • Background in consulting, sourcing, supply chain, or commercially focused transformation environments.

Our Package

  • 10% on target bonus
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays and an opportunity to buy up to five more days every year
  • Hybrid working, with state-of-the-art offices within Canal Plaza
  • BT Sourced Pension Scheme - 6% BT contributions
  • Life Assurance from 1st day of employment - 4x salary
  • We provide healthcare cover and permanent health insurance (income continuance)
  • Access to excellent training tools, programmes and communities to help you connect, learn and grow.
  • And we like it when our people do good things so there will be the opportunity to take time off for volunteering and we'll help with your fundraising too.

BT Group is the UK’s leading communications group and the holding company behind some of the country’s most recognised brands – including BT, EE, Openreach and Plusnet. Our purpose is as simple as it is ambitious: we connect for good. Our customers include consumers, small, medium and large businesses, public sector organisations and other communications providers.

BT Group’s role is about setting direction, unlocking value and creating the conditions for our brands and businesses to thrive.

Having come through the most capital-intensive phase of our fibre investment, our focus now is on what comes next – simplifying how we operate, using technology and AI to work smarter, and organising ourselves to serve customers better and grow sustainably. Group teams shape strategy, policy, brand, capital allocation and transformation, helping the whole organisation perform at its best.

We have a singular culture that unites all our people: we are customer-first challengers, who are committed, clear and connected. These behaviours unite us as one team to deliver for our colleagues, our customers, our stakeholders and the country. Joining BT Group means working at the heart of a business that matters to the UK, with the opportunity to shape decisions, influence outcomes and help set the future course of one of the country’s most important companies.
