About this Role

We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join our Supply Chain Management team in Budapest. In this role, you will act as a strategic business partner, supporting procurement and sourcing activities that contribute to business performance, cost optimisation, supplier governance, and operational excellence. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Vodafone Procurement Company (VPC), and suppliers to drive effective sourcing strategies, demand management practices, and commercial outcomes while ensuring compliance with governance and procurement standards.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and incorporate business needs into procurement plans and sourcing activities.
  • Support demand management practices to optimise cost, quality, and delivery outcomes while aligning with business and finance objectives.
  • Contribute to the implementation of procurement strategies that support VOIS business priorities and performance goals.
  • Build effective stakeholder relationships and promote adoption of supply chain initiatives across the organisation.
  • Analyse business requirements and market information to identify opportunities for commercial optimisation and value creation.
  • Support supplier and contract governance activities, including strategic vendor management and commercial contract management practices.
  • Participate in sourcing and procurement negotiations to achieve favourable commercial outcomes.
  • Drive compliance with procurement processes, systems, tools, customs operations, and governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with peers across Supply Chain Management teams to identify and implement best practices and continuous improvement opportunities.

Who you are

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Business Partnering.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications, technology services, or related commercial markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data and develop insights that support informed business and procurement decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and matrix environments.
  • Understanding of contract management principles, supplier governance, and procurement compliance requirements.
  • Graduate degree required; postgraduate qualification such as an MBA or Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes, procedures, and commercial practices.
