Job Description

We’re Pod – one of the UK’s leading EV charging providers, trusted by over 250,000 customers and powering more than 5 million miles every single day. But behind the numbers is a team of passionate people working together to shape a smarter, more sustainable future.

We started off in 2009 as Pod Point, helping people make the switch to electric as EVs began to hit the road. Today, we’re leading the way into a smarter energy future. Now part of the EDF Family, a global leader in low-carbon energy, we're giving people and communities the power move confidently through electrification.

We’re proud to be the trusted charging partner for leading automotive brands like Mercedes, Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, and Kia; home builders Barratt and Bellway; and retail giants including Tesco. Our smart charging solutions don’t just support EV drivers - they help balance the grid, lower costs, and make clean energy accessible to everyone.
Pod is the next evolution of Pod Point. As electrification becomes everyday, Pod is here to help build a brighter future for society by managing the flow of energy, making it affordable, accessible, and for the benefit of everyone. With 250,000 customers already trusting us to be at the heart of their EV life, we see Pod playing a leading role in the UK’s increasingly electrified future. Our focus is on powering not just homes and vehicles, but local communities and social progress.

Join the EVolution:
The AI Operation Analyst sits right at the heart of how Pod is changing the way we work with AI. We are not experimenting for the sake of it, we are solving real problems and building things that make a genuine difference to teams and customers. The AI Operations Analyst will work closely with the Enterprise Tech Team to turn ideas into practical tools, help colleagues feel confident using AI, and build solutions that did not exist yesterday. If you are curious, hands-on, and excited by the idea of shaping a role as you go, this is a brilliant opportunity to grow with us.

You’ll be responsible for:

Enable teams to use AI day to day - You will support teams across Pod to understand and make better use of AI tools in their everyday work, improving speed, quality, and confidence

Configure and improve AI workflows - You will help configure, connect, and continuously improve AI-powered tools and workflows using platforms like Claude and HubSpot, plus whatever comes next. This includes testing, iterating, documenting, and making sure solutions are practical for real users

Turn stakeholder briefs into working solutions - You will take briefs from stakeholders, sometimes independently and sometimes alongside your manager, then translate them into clear problem statements and practical outputs, such as workflows, playbooks, prompts, automations, or lightweight prototypes

Track and communicate AI impact - You will contribute to Pod’s AI Working Group by helping track adoption and outcomes, capturing what is working, surfacing blockers, and communicating the value AI is delivering across the business

Stay current and bring in relevant ideas - You will keep a finger on the pulse of AI developments, filter hype from what is useful, and bring forward tools, patterns, and ideas that can improve how Pod operates

Upskill colleagues at all levels - You will support upskilling through one-to-ones, drop-ins, and training sessions, helping colleagues build practical capability and good judgement when using AI

Electrify us with your skills:

We think the role would be great for somebody who has;

Curiosity and a practical approach to AI - You are genuinely interested in how AI can be applied in real work, and you enjoy experimenting to find what actually helps

Technical literacy and a hands-on mindset - You do not need to be a developer, but you are comfortable learning how tools work, troubleshooting, and getting stuck in to make things happen

Strong stakeholder and meeting skills - You can listen well, ask the right questions, and translate a fuzzy problem into something clear, actionable, and useful

Comfort with ambiguity and change - You are energised by a shifting landscape, you can prioritise sensibly, and you adapt your approach as the role evolves

Self-starter energy - You take ownership, you try to find answers independently, and you ask for help when it will move things forward faster

Clear communication - You can explain what you are doing and why, in plain English, tailored to different audiences. You write clearly and you communicate progress reliably.

Perks that spark joy:
