ABOUT THE ROLE

We're embarking on an exciting new chapter! While our growth has primarily been driven organically by referrals, we're now looking to proactively expand our client base. This newly created role is pivotal in shaping our client acquisition strategy.

As our Sales Director, your focus will be on quality over quantity. You'll be tasked with identifying and nurturing relationships with prospective clients who align with our values and ethos. This role embodies our commitment to being customer-focused from the very first interaction.We're looking for someone who will exemplify our people-led approach, and build strong, friendly, respectful relationships with prospects and accounts. This salaried position reflects our intention to attract an individual that is motivated to contribute and grow the business for long term success, rather than those primarily motivated by short term financial commissions.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with other departments, particularly marketing, to develop impactful sales strategies & materials and share valuable market insights. Your work will directly contribute to our missions of service excellence and being a beacon of progressive culture and good business practices to clients and other businesses.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Business Development - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract good quality clients who align with our values. Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in target companies.
  • Lead Nurturing - Oversee the lead generation and qualification process, ensuring a robust pipeline of potential clients and collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to align lead generation efforts with marketing initiatives
  • Partnership Development and Management - Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships to expand Peak PEO's reach. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, ensuring mutual benefit and growth.
  • Sales Collateral Development - Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials that effectively communicate Peak PEO's unique value proposition while maintaining the company’s brand voice.
  • Sales Reporting and Analytics – working alongside marketing to maintain an effective sales reporting system to track key performance indicators. You will then provide regular reports and insights to the executive team to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Sales operations - continuous development and improvement of our sales operations, to ensure we have a fit for purpose and efficient process in place.
  • Strategic Input - Contribute to strategic discussions on positioning & messaging, pricing and product development. Conduct research to provide valuable market insights to help shape the company's overall business strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the HR industry
  • Experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to create compelling sales messaging and collateral
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends and translate insights into actionable plans
  • Be aligned with our values and be able to communicate these, along with our services, with passion
  • Cultural sensitivity and global mindset, essential for working in an international context
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setup
