Where you’ll work:

Depending on the needs of your business area, we expect hub based people to be in the office at least once a week, and to go to OVO Connection events in-person.

This role is based in our London office. You’ll be expected to work in the office Monday to Wednesday each week, with flexibility depending on business needs. Occasional travel may also be required to attend company-wide meetings, board meetings, and key team events.

This role in a nutshell:

This is an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join a fast-paced, tech-driven organisation as part of the dynamic Assistant Team. The role provides strategic support, involves regular collaboration with other EAs, and focuses on building strong, trusted partnerships with the Director of Customer Fulfilment, the Director of Customer Enablement & Serve, and their teams.


Your key outcomes will be:

  • Diary and calendar management, including prioritisation of tasks and effective workload coordination in a fast-paced environment
  • Team support, including planning and coordinating offsites, events, team meetings, and training sessions
  • Providing ad-hoc diary and admin support to leaders within the Director of Customer Fulfillment’s team and Director of Customer Enablement & Serve team, including meeting logistics, travel coordination, and expenses, as capacity allows
  • Travel and expense management with attention to detail and compliance
  • Inbox management, handling confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion
  • Act as a key point of engagement - supporting team engagement initiatives, maintaining awareness of team dynamics, and serving as a communication bridge
  • Manage and represent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Director of Customer Fulfillment, Director of Customer Enablement & Serve and the Assistants team
  • Awareness of relevant technology and industry trends
  • Work closely with the broader Assistants team to ensure alignment, consistency, and shared best practices across the function


You’ll be a successful Executive Assistant here at OVO if you are…

The ideal candidate will have previous Executive Assistant experience supporting VP or C-Suite executives in a fast-paced, tech-driven organisation, preferably within Operations area, or have a genuine interest and understanding of the industry.

  • People savvy. You’re able to read situations quickly, flex your communication style, and build strong relationships across all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Whether it’s a well-worded email or an event ready presentation, your comms hit the mark
  • Experienced owning details on briefing packs, slides decks, reports, and stakeholder communications
  • Ability to organise, prioritise workload and demonstrate adaptability
  • Self-driven and motivated, with an ability to show initiative
  • Experienced dealing with confidential and highly sensitive information
  • A team player that dives into team initiatives and knowledge sharing
  • Willing and able to travel regularly between our hubs in London, Bristol, and Glasgow to support the team as needed.

We’ll pay you between £36,330 and £47,960, depending on your specific skills and experience.

We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.

You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
