As March comes to a close, we’re looking back on an inspiring month of gender equality activities.
We heard from our female leaders about their experiences, from our people about why gender equality and allyship is so important, and we helped women across OVO celebrate their achievements.
We highlighted the support available for parents and guardians through our Parenting Club and Parental Buddies. And we learned more about trans and non-binary inclusion through our Trans Inclusion Policy and OVO Learn course.

For the past decade, we've proudly partnered with The Conservation Volunteers and The Woodland Trust to plant native trees across the UK. 🌳

We launched in 2009 with a belief that energy could be better. Since then we’ve welcomed over four million members, planted 5 million trees and set our sights on helping to save the planet. In 2019 we launched Plan Zero - our sustainability plan.
That’s why we’re helping UK homes on the Path to Zero. With a range of smart tech to choose from and our expert teams, we can help take steps to reduce our customers energy bills and our collective carbon footprint.
We’ve always believed energy can be better. Better for our customers. Better for their wallets. Better for our planet. We’re creating a culture where brilliant people are united in that mission. From helping customers decarbonise their homes, to making it simpler for them to manage their energy use – every role here has a purpose.
Flexible working at OVO
Every step of the way we’ve nurtured one thing above all else – supporting our people so they can best support our customers. Our culture, which we call The OVO Way, is what makes us unique. It’s our secret sauce and how we show up. Every. Single. Day.
We understand that a one size fits all approach doesn’t work for everyone. That’s why we created the OVO Way of Flexibility.
Depending on the needs of your business area, we expect hub based people to be in the office at least once a week, and to go to OVO Connection events in-person.
You’ll be assigned to the closest one of our three hub offices, Bristol, Glasgow, or London; unless your role requires field-based work. Each hub has accessible spaces to park your laptop, is designed to inspire people, help them connect and bring big ideas to life.
