Where you’ll work:

At OVO, we understand that a one size fits all approach doesn’t work for everyone. That’s why we created the OVO Way of Flexibility.

All our roles are hub based (Bristol, Glasgow or London), providing a dedicated space for collaboration, connection and teamwork. You’ll also have the flexibility to work from home.

Everyone belongs at OVO

At OVO, we are on a mission to solve one of humanity's biggest challenges, the climate crisis. And we know it takes all of us to change the world. That's why we need diverse people from all abilities, gender identities, ethnicities, ages, sexual orientations, life experiences and backgrounds to join us.

Teamworking for the planet

Everything we do here spins around Plan Zero. So, naturally, the team you’ll be joining plays a gigantic role in making that happen. Here’s how:

The CRM team is responsible for ensuring we maximise our relationships with our customers. This is core to OVO’s ambition to be Britain’s decarbonisation partner - helping us better understand our customers and take them on the path to zero carbon. CRM helps set customer strategies, communicate and engage with our existing customer base through designing customer interventions which are personalised, relevant, timely and across multiple channels.

This role in a nutshell:

Within a CRM team at the forefront of OVO’s decarbonisation mission, you will create and deliver activity that supports our smart meter installation target. Your approach will be data driven and aligned with other areas of the business. You will focus on the outputs that are measurable and drive business performance. You will be responsible for development and execution of CRM campaigns within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This role reports to the Senior CRM Manager and is responsible for key CRM activity to support our Smart Meter booking targets.

Your key outcomes will be:

  • Effective CRM Strategy Execution: Successfully design and implement engaging and effective CRM programs that drive Smart meter bookings.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Requires the ability to be inquisitive about our customer audience and develop statistically valid tests based on proposed hypotheses.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align CRM strategies with broader business goals.
  • Agile approach according to demands: Ability to prioritise work and provide accurate updates to the Senior Manager - ensuring stakeholder expectations are managed appropriately.
  • Process Improvement & Efficiency: Proactively work with other members of the Smart CRM team to optimise ways of working, streamline processes and simplify complex customer journeys to improve campaign speed-to-market.
  • Briefing: Expected to write best-in-class creative briefs designed to deliver performance-driven communications across multi-channel opportunities.
  • Delivery process end-to-end: Must manage the entire delivery process for campaigns across all channels, which includes briefing data campaign automation teams, overseeing email builds, and ensuring call centre readiness.
  • Reporting and analysis: Requires working with reporting and analytics to deliver forecasts for activity, understanding in-flight optimization and measuring the weekly performance of these activities.
  • Drive continuous performance uplift by designing and executing a rigorous, measurable Test and Learn programme across all Smart communications.

You’ll be a successful CRM Manager here at OVO if you…

  • Have proven experience in CRM and in developing marketing plans.
  • Are proficient in the execution of email and direct mail campaigns.
  • Have experience in forecasting of campaigns and the ability to develop business cases for proposed strategies.
  • Have the ability to develop data driven customer contact strategies.
  • Thrive in a performance marketing environment.
  • Are a self-starter who can take action to deliver against a clear objective.
  • Have the willingness to step outside of your comfort zone.

Let’s talk about what’s in it for you

We’ll pay you between £43,100 and £50,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!

We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.

You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.

We also offer plenty of green benefits and progressive policies to help you feel like you belong at OVO…and there’s flex pay.
