Job Description

The RoleAs the home of small brands, we are constantly on the lookout for amazing, eye catching and great quality products to bring to our marketplace to delight our customers. The New Range Manager’s role is to source the best new brands through our membership application process, as well as inviting brands we think have great potential to sell with us.

We also have thousands of new products being uploaded from our existing partners every week - championing new bestsellers and spotting emerging trends is key to this role.

Accountabilities

  • Combining category and customer insight with commercial instincts and a keen eye to spot a future bestseller. You’ll be managing all the new partner applications that come through organically, as well as building the pipeline and reaching out to brands we’ve spotted that we think would be a great fit for our marketplace.
  • Understanding future market trends, range gaps and growth opportunities, supporting the Head of Range & Ecommerce on the execution of the Range Strategy by future-proofing our product offering and spotting the right brands to fill range gaps.
  • A NOTHS brand champion, you will live our values to communicate the benefits of being a partner to prospective small brands. Small brands need to consider NOTHS as the very best platform to grow their business. Effective communication will be key, and you’ll need to be confident on the phone, as well as having outstanding writing and visual presentation skills.
  • You’ll be responsible for managing the New Partner Assistant to onboard new Partners to provide an effective and positive Partner acquisition journey, as well as collaborating with colleagues in the Commercial, Finance and Legal teams to ensure safety and compliance.
  • You’ll work closely with the Category Manager, Brand Curator and Visual Merchandising team to ensure the new Partners have the best possible exposure and marketing opportunities once they’ve joined.
  • Monitoring the performance of future best selling products, using your amazing product eye to spot high potential new products and share them with key stakeholders to supercharge their performance.
  • You’ll oversee our new product approval process and category approval process (managing the Category Assistant) to ensure this is completed to agreed SLAs and with a high level of attention to detail. You’ll collaborate with the Partner Ops and Legal teams on product compliance issues where necessary.

Some key skills and experience you’ll need...

Technical skills:

  • A brilliant trend and product eye with the ability to spot future bestsellers and amazing newness.
  • Experience of managing operational processes and content management systems effectively, using learned knowledge and commercial instinct to inform decisions.
  • Good level of negotiation and influencing skills
  • You can interpret data to a high level and use it to drive actions.
  • Experience of building and running reports in Looker preferred and good level Excel skills.

Human skills:

  • Self motivated and proactive.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and visual) with the natural ability to gain confidence from external and internal stakeholders
  • Experience in collaboratively supporting and working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable and confident to work independently to problem solve and make recommendations.
  • Can flexibly move between projects and deadlines in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and a passion for our products, partners and brand.

Don’t meet every single requirement? No problem. Your strengths, passion & fresh perspective could be just what we’re looking for - so we encourage you to apply!

Our remote work culture is designed to empower our employees, foster collaboration, and create a community that transcends physical boundaries.

Under this framework, all of us operate remotely, convening as teams at regular intervals that suit each team best. These gatherings serve various purposes, including ideation sessions, hackathons, or simply fostering valuable face-to-face interactions.

Every quarter, we hold a Get Together and the whole company meets for a fun-filled day (with no shortage of food!) with some special guests... our small brand Partners!
