PMO Co-ordinator 12 month FTC
About the role
This is a key co‑ordination role at the heart of change delivery. As a PMO Co‑ordinator, you’ll support effective, proportionate governance across a portfolio or delivery team – making sure the right information reaches the right people at the right time. Your work will help stakeholders stay informed, risks stay visible, and decisions stay well‑grounded, enabling successful delivery and stronger outcomes for colleagues and customers.
In this role, you’ll bring order, visibility and assurance to a fast‑moving delivery environment. You’ll work closely with project and programme teams to ensure governance is well planned, controls are in place, and reporting is accurate, timely and meaningful.
You'll take ownership of the governance rhythm across your portfolio, maintaining governance schedules, coordinating key meetings and ensuring stakeholders receive clear, timely communications. By keeping activities aligned to delivery plans, you'll help create the structure and momentum needed for successful project delivery.
Working closely with project and programme teams, you'll embed and monitor delivery controls in line with the Change Framework, providing first-line assurance that agreed standards, processes and governance expectations are being followed. You'll also support assurance activity by tracking the implementation of recommendations and helping teams strengthen quality, consistency and compliance.
You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate delivery intelligence, including project plans, risks, issues, dependencies and constraints, ensuring emerging concerns are identified early and actions are in place to minimise impact. Alongside this, you'll support effective financial management through the development, maintenance and reporting of budgets, resource plans and forecasts.
A key part of the role will be producing high-quality reporting that provides stakeholders and governance forums with clear, timely and meaningful insights to support informed decision-making. You'll also contribute to a variety of priority initiatives and ad hoc activities, providing flexible PMO support where it is needed most to help drive successful delivery outcomes.
