Job Description

About Motorway

Motorway is the UK’s fastest-growing used car marketplace – our award-winning, online-only platform connects private car sellers with thousands of verified dealers nationwide, ensuring everyone gets the best deal.

Founded in 2017, our technology-led approach has redefined the experience of selling a car, generating thousands of monthly car sales and helping us to grow to a team of more than 400 people across our London and Brighton offices.

About the role

Having developed a large, rapidly-expanding customer database here at Motorway, we are looking for a customer driven, ambitious CRM Executive to help build and evolve a best-in-class user experience across email, in-app messaging, Push, Whatsapp and SMS.

We are looking for a proactive team player with ruthless attention to detail who is comfortable working within a fast-moving growth environment.

You will be deeply involved in the design and execution of all communications (copy, creative, design and messaging) to improve customer experience and conversion. You will report into a Senior CRM Manager, working closely with key stakeholders across Motorway’s Marketing, Product, Strategy, BI, Sales and Customer Support teams.

Motorway has two key customer audiences: millions of consumers annually looking to sell their car, and thousands of professional car dealers across the UK, who use our platform to acquire stock. This role will be supporting both our dealer and seller teams giving the right candidate an exciting opportunity to be involved and learn about all aspects of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Creating, optimising and executing email campaigns.
  • Supporting our Senior CRM Managers with strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Building out targeted, automated journeys.
  • Regular impact and performance reporting.
  • Generating campaign performance reports to share with the wider business.
  • Working with Copywriters and Designers to create engaging content.
  • Support optimisation, conducting A/B tests to fine-tune content, subject lines, segmentation strategies, send timings, and other variables.
  • Identifying trends, challenges and opportunities to drive revenue via CRM.
  • Managing and updating templates for automated and triggered campaigns.
  • Working with our Customer Support and Sales team to optimise email content and other automated comms.

Requirements

  • Experience working in CRM/email marketing.
  • Experience in working with ESPs/marketing automation platforms (experience using Braze is desirable, but not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills with a self-starter mindset.
  • A willingness to learn and develop.
  • A customer-centric approach to your work. You’ll be able to balance commercial requirements while keeping customer experience in mind, to ensure our CRM is impactful and delivered in the most relevant, helpful way possible for every cohort.
  • HTML skills (desirable, but not essential).
  • A great communicator able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams.
  • A positive attitude, and a team player.

Benefits

  • A competitive salary
  • BUPA private health insurance
  • Annual learning budget with Learnerbly
  • Enhanced Maternity/Paternity leave
  • Flexible working (approximately 1-2 days in the office a week)
  • The option to work remote for a full month each year
  • Pension Scheme
  • Discounted Calm membership
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • A fun working environment with regular social events
  • The chance to join a rapidly growing company that cares first and foremost about its people
  • Fast career progression and the ability to develop your own skills and experience quickly
