Level: Senior

Why join MONY Group?

Every day, we push beyond expectations to help millions of people save money, at a time when it’s never mattered more. Through MoneySuperMarket, MoneySavingExpert, Quidco and our B2B partnerships we supply products to more than 24 million unique monthly visitors, helping UK households to save billions of pounds a year. Can you tell this is something we’re exceptionally proud of!

Creative, collaborative, ambitious – it’s hard work. But what makes it worth it? Leaving work knowing we’ve made a difference to our customers, users, and to each other.

Put our distinct brands together with our dedicated colleagues and you’ve got a workplace with lots of personality. We’re open-minded, diverse, and love our differences. Everyone plays a part, and comes together to work hard, go beyond, and make sure everyone feels they belong.

What makes us different

  • A workplace full of personality; open-minded, diverse, and inclusive.
  • Highly collaborative product teams with product managers, designers and engineers working together to build world-class experiences.
  • A culture where everyone belongs and every voice matters.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join one of our multidisciplinary product squads. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers and engineers, owning delivery across the SDLC; shaping solutions, building accessible, high-performing user experiences, and releasing value quickly.

We’re an AI-enabled engineering organisation, using tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate delivery and improve code quality. If you’re excited about using AI responsibly to build better products, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll do

  • Lead on the delivery of features and help shape technical direction within your team.
  • Collaborate with product and design to create intuitive, responsive UIs and ship improvements end-to-end.
  • Build and maintain modern single-page applications with a strong focus on accessibility, performance, and quality.
  • Champion great engineering practices: TDD, pairing/mobbing, automation, and continuous delivery. [
  • Debug, optimise, and reduce technical debt, keeping things maintainable with sensible documentation.
  • Mentor and coach others, helping teammates grow and raising the bar on frontend craft.

What we’re looking for

We believe success isn’t solely defined by ticking boxes on a skills checklist, if you’re excited by the role and our mission, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll likely have:

  • Significant experience with modern frontend frameworks (we use Vue.js; React experience is also valuable).
  • Strong fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript.
  • Experience with automated testing (unit/integration/E2E/performance) and confidence practising TDD.
  • Great code design habits and the ability to guide others with thoughtful feedback and coaching.
  • A collaborative mindset: you enjoy pairing, mobbing, and shipping value quickly in an agile environment.

Nice to have:

  • Playwright experience (or similar E2E tooling).
  • AWS Amplify and Cognito exposure (or experience building/hosting web apps on AWS).

Why switch to us

  • Dedicated time for learning and people regularly attend conferences and events.
  • Hybrid working: we’re a hybrid organisation, spending 2 days per week in the office to get the best of collaboration, and the rest where you work best.
  • Loads of team activities — hack days, socials and community get-togethers, plus annual Product & Tech meetups.
  • Clear progression framework and opportunities to move across teams.
  • Beautiful offices with games areas, free food & drinks and more.

Rewards & benefits

  • 27 days holiday (rising to 30) + bank holidays
  • Bonus scheme
  • Pension up to 6% employer contribution
  • Enhanced shared parental leave — 6 months paid for both parents
  • Digital Doctor on demand
  • Work-from-anywhere scheme — 2 weeks per year
  • Financial coaching + mental health platform access

How we’ll invest in you

We’re committed to your development — expect mentorship, training, and opportunities to expand your skill set, including your own individual LinkedIn Learning licence with access to over 16,000 courses.

Interview process

  • A call with one of our Talent Acquisition team
  • An interview split into three sections: technical ability questions, a paired programming exercise, and behavioural questions

Our commitment

At MONY Group, we believe in the strength of diversity and see inclusion as a strategic advantage. Our values guide us in creating a workplace where fairness and equity is a reality for all; we’re committed to minimising systemic bias and creating a level playing field for all candidates.

We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform crucial job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation - no need to disclose your disability or condition, just specify your needs. Unsure what to ask for? We can guide you through available accommodations.

Ready to go beyond comparison?

We understand that job adverts only say so much and you’re likely to have a lot of questions. If you’d like to know anything before applying (salary, location, hybrid working, parental leave policy etc.), just let us know — we’ll be happy to help.
