Executive Assistant to CVP / Business Support

Job Description

This is an amazing opportunity to join Microsoft, to support the worldwide CVP Office of our Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) division, our consulting arm, which is a global organization of strategic sellers, industry and security experts, elite engineers, world-class data scientists and architects, consultants and delivery specialists.

This Executive Assistant / Business Support position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a senior figure in the tech industry and her team, and contribute to the success of Microsoft. Your agility, attention to detail and exceptional interpersonal skills will be key in navigating our fast-paced environment. The role involves managing calendars, coordinating travel, organising events, and supporting various business operations.

Success in this role requires exceptional organisational skills, discretion, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and most of all to be proactive - thinking one step ahead.

Candidates should have current or previous experience as an EA supporting a Global leader or EMEA regional leader or a similar large regional role, due to the international scope of this position and travel requirements.

Responsibilities

Responsibilites

  • Calendar Management: Provide strategic calendar management and time planning support for executives, ensuring smooth meeting preparations and prioritization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication: Act as a liaison between executives and teams, gathering and distributing information to key stakeholders.
  • Discipline Growth and Development: Lead and mentor Business Support colleagues, contributing to team culture and career development.
  • Team Management Support: Facilitate recruitment, onboarding, and headcount management activities, ensuring a smooth process for new hires and team members.
  • Event Coordination and Logistics: Own the coordination and logistics for events, ensuring successful outcomes and managing supplier relationships.
  • Project Ownership: Manage multiple projects end to end, ensuring executional excellence and stakeholder accountability.
  • Resource Management: Participate in budget tracking and expense management, ensuring policy compliance and resolving issues.
  • Rhythm of Business (ROB): Implement and adjust business cadence plans, supporting confidential communications and gathering feedback.
  • Space Management and Planning: Maintain and manage team spaces, coordinating large-scale space requests and resolving escalations.
  • Travel Management: Manage travel arrangements and logistics for executives, ensuring compliance with travel policies and providing onsite support when needed.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates should have current or previous experience as an EA supporting a Global leader or EMEA regional leader or a similar large regional role, due to the international scope of this position in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an EA to senior leaders in a fast-paced global team environment.
  • Resilient, tenacious, and a quick learner with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences and incredibly organized.
  • A team player who is hands-on, focused on execution and comfortable with decision-making.
