Responsibilities

As our EMEA Labour Relations Consultant, you will:

  • Drive the European Works Council (EWC) project, ensuring robust governance and compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.

  • Partner with Centres of Excellence to implement scalable, AI-driven labour relations programmes and processes across EMEA.

  • Program manage the deployment of AI tools and features in partnership with Engineering, Microsoft Digital, country Labour Relations consultants, and works councils.

  • Strengthen relationships with employee representative bodies and proactively resolve complex labour issues using data-driven insights.

  • Coach business leaders, design and implement capability-building programmes, and identify training needs to elevate organisational effectiveness.

  • Champion Microsoft values and compliance by rolling out scalable HR programmes and local projects.

  • Contribute to the International Labour Relations Community, delivering strategy and enabling a listening system to surface risks and priorities.



Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who offer:

  • Extensive experience in labour relations and works councils across multiple European countries; experience with EWC is a plus.

  • Proven ability to consult with senior HR and business leaders, align programmes with business strategy, and manage change initiatives within virtual, cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical skills, systems thinking, and a passion for digital transformation in HR.

  • Deep knowledge and enthusiasm for HR and Labour Relations strategy and programmes, with a track record of delivering impactful outcomes.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with an international mindset and ability to navigate complex, multicultural environments.

  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for learning.
