As the Business Program Manager focussed on Communications, Culture, Employee Engagement plays a critical role in shaping how culture, engagement, and people priorities are brought to life across ISD EMEA. This role sits at the intersection of people experience, strategic communications, and programme execution, translating ISD Strategy and People Priorities into high-impact initiatives that drive value and clarity that employees and leaders can see, feel, and engage with.
You will design and deliver people and culture programmes, lead multichannel communications, and manage end to end execution across EMEA, partnering closely with HR, ISD leadership, communications, and business stakeholders to ensure consistency, clarity, and impact.
This role is ideal for someone who is people centred, highly organised, and comfortable operating across ambiguity, with a strong bias for action and delivery.
Responsibilities
Programme Management & Execution
- Own the end‑to‑end delivery of people and culture programmes across ISD EMEA (e.g. people plan, ISD Global Manager Community, Career and Capability programmes, employee recognition).
- Translate ISD EMEA People Plan priorities into structured programmes with clear outcomes, milestones, and success measures, aligned to Signals insights and leadership direction.
- Manage cross‑functional dependencies, risks, timelines, and communications to ensure programmes land on time and with quality.
Communications & Storytelling
- Develop and execute clear, engaging internal communications that bring people priorities, cultural initiatives, and leadership messages to life across EMEA.
- Partner with ISD and EMEA communications leads to align messaging, cadence, and channels (e.g. Town Halls, leadership updates, SharePoint, Viva Engage, manager toolkits).
- Ensure communications are inclusive, accessible, and locally relevant, while maintaining consistency with global Microsoft narratives.
People & Culture Impact
- Support the landing of ISD EMEA culture and engagement priorities, including career, capability, recognition, community, and manager excellence.
- Use insights from Employee Signals and People Programs Signals to inform programme design, communications, and continuous improvement.
- Create moments that matter for employees by turning strategy into tangible experiences that reinforce Microsoft values and ISD’s identity as a talent destination.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Act as a trusted partner to ISD EMEA Leadership Team, USD EMEA Business Management community, global ISD & CE&S programme owners.
- Support leadership rhythms by providing clear updates, insights, and materials that enable informed decision‑making and effective people conversations.
Qualifications
Required Experiences
- Experience in programme or project management, internal communications, employee experience programmes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting messages for diverse, senior audiences.
- Comfort working across regions, cultures, and time zones.
- Ability to turn ambiguous goals into clear, executable plans.
