About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead customer-facing programmes of significant scale and complexity. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in managing large transformations, strong stakeholder leadership, and the ability to maintain service continuity during complex transitions. The position requires close collaboration with senior internal and external stakeholders, a deep understanding of business operations, and the ability to support commercial negotiations while ensuring seamless programme delivery.
What you’ll do
- Communicate a clear vision for the programme and articulate the customer’s desired future state.
- Design delivery capabilities and develop detailed programme plans, including resource needs, interdependencies, and critical paths.
- Create cost estimates, manage performance against plans, and integrate all workstreams.
- Build and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring recruitment, competency development, and resource forecasting throughout the lifecycle.
- Foster relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders and maintain regular, structured engagement.
- Lead stakeholder mapping and ensure needs are understood and met across teams.
- Support effective business change by working closely with strategists, designers, and operations partners.
- Maintain high standards of quality assurance across workstreams, ensuring timely reporting on budget, timelines, quality, and KPIs.
- Manage risks, issues, and change processes, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and aligned.
- Oversee financial governance, including business cases, benefit realisation, and budget forecasting.
- Ensure alignment with business expectations, governance standards, and contractual obligations.
Who you are
- An individual with experience delivering major, complex programmes end to end.
- Someone with strong presence and credibility, capable of engaging confidently with senior stakeholders and executive forums.
- Skilled in navigating contractual discussions with customers and partners.
- Experienced in large-scale transitions and transformations with an understanding of operational impacts.
- An adaptable professional able to lead through change while maintaining effectiveness and team performance.
- A collaborative communicator capable of delivering compelling presentations to varied and senior audiences.
- Possessing in-depth business and market knowledge, able to contribute to intellectual property creation.
- Adept at supporting commercial teams through accurate forecasting and contributing to business case development.
- Skilled in building high-performing teams, influencing key stakeholders, and coaching individuals to success.
- Experienced in benefit realisation, financial viability assessments, and programme-level governance.
