What are we looking for?

We are looking for motivated, driven, proactive and humble Sales Representatives who will assist our veterinary clinics with the launch and support of their online pharmacy. The role will help clinics to free up more time for the treatment of pets and engagement with pet owners, while Vetsource conveniently delivers prescriptions and nutrition products directly to the pet owner's home.

  • Demonstrated interest or experience in sales or account management. Veterinary sales experience is beneficial.

  • Good communication skills and ability to quickly build strong relationships.

  • Interest in the veterinary industry and partnering with veterinary clinics.

  • Proactive and motivated to reach new and existing business and achieve sales targets. A Winning mindset.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable using other programs as part of MS Office Suite and CRM systems.

  • Organised and adept at planning and prioritising tasks and/or workloads.

  • Driving license and ability to travel within the UK to new and existing clinics.

  • Based in the United Kingdom

This role may also suit a veterinarian, veterinary nurse and/or veterinary paraprofessional looking to move into a sales’ role.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Sales: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set out and shared by the UK Sales Manages and UK Business Development Manager.

  • Clinic Engagement: Schedule appointment to visit veterinary clinics, meet with key decision makers and influencers within the veterinary clinic, educate clinic staff on the benefit of Vetsource platform, generate sales leads, nurture relationships, and sell the Vetsource platform to veterinary practices.

  • Clinic Onboarding: gather information necessary to create the vet's online pharmacy, ensure a successful adoption of new services and conduct in-house training.

  • Account Support: ensure the clinic has access to any tools they need to promote the Vetsource International products and services, identify new opportunities to grow the account, and help stakeholders address the pain points they are trying to solve.

  • Communication: set expectations around customer support, look to maximize customer satisfaction, and clearly and succinctly share the Vetsource International value proposition with potential and current clients, and demo the solution(s) so clinics understand the value an online pharmacy can bring.

  • Coordination: own the setup of the clinic and all communications with the practice and keep track of the enrolment process and steps that need to be completed prior to launching the new service.

  • Record Keeping/Process Improvement: maintain accurate/real-time records of clinics in our CRM solution, log all calls/Issues that arise, identify inefficiencies in processes and make Improvements to them in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Sales Call Frequency/Quantity: Achieve set KPI’s on sales call quantity and frequency on a weekly/monthly basis.

  • Tradeshow/Events: Represent Vetsource at veterinary conferences and exhibitions throughout the UK.

This role will report to the Sales Manager and the associate with collaborate and closely with other business unites such as Product Development, Business Development, Marketing, Operations, and other MARS associated corporate veterinary networks.
The role will be field based therefore needs to be able to work independently and manage time efficiently. >60% Travel will be required within the UK and/or Europe.
They need to liaise and coordinate with others and must enjoy working in a team environment too and be prepared to travel to meet colleagues and partners.
