The Platforms Key Account Manager will sit in the European Platforms team and is tasked with developing and deploying a successful plan to achieve targets through close collaboration with various teams. They will have a comprehensive understanding of the platforms we partner with and support the overarching Platforms Vision and Strategy by executing agreed-upon plans effectively. The role involves P&L control and a focus on balancing growth and profitability

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Financial: supports delivery of in-year Platforms operating plan (AEP)

  • Financial: supports the Senior Platforms Key Account Manager and the Platforms Director in the S&OP+ cycle, including forecasting, trade investment management/accruals and risk and opportunities assessment

  • Business Growth: supports the Senior Platforms Key Account Manager and the Platforms Director in the identification, negotiation and onboarding of new platforms / partners

  • Product: executes the portfolio plan onto platforms (including the listing of new items and the on-going management of the portfolio to maximise best in class execution across all platforms), ensuring the portfolio offered is tailored to market and platform

  • Pricing/ promotion: work with the Market Strategy and Deployment (MS&D) team to maximise promotional sales and increase promo ROI by applying promotional guidelines

  • Merchandising: work with the MS&D and Marketing Centre of Excellence (CoE) teams­ to ensure best in class execution on site, with a particular focus on Content, Availability, Ratings & Reviews and Search Ranking

  • Activation: with the MS&D team to plan and deploy on-site campaigns across Platforms, ensuring best in class execution and budget management

  • Knowledge management: capture learnings and share best practice across both the Platforms team and wider Mars digital community
