What are we looking for?

  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing and/or R&D is preferred
  • Experience in MSE or TPM /Lean tools and techniques, LEAN/Six Sigma preferred
  • Extensive experience in an Education and Training role in a business and/or manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience of operations performance experience
  • Skilled in utilizing digital technology to enhance training programs (i.e. Poka, …, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and interaction with various functional groups
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • The site Education and Training Pillar Lead will deploy the pillar across the site such as working on training and coaching all associates on E&T standards, meeting cadence, health checks, 90days plan, 1 year implementation plan, charter, KPI’s and recognition, step up cards, Maturity Assessment (pillar management)
  • Working closely with different pillar leads and members to support the deployment of the program taking into account the changes that will incur to the workplace and the operational teams roles and responsibilities as we develop through the stages of MSE that needs to be incorporated into the role profile, working closely with P&O, as we well updating the induction and training plans for new comers.
  • Actively participate to Regional & Global E&T community of practice (COP)

Factory capability framework:

  • Deploy the framework that defines the link between performance and individual capabilities to create individualized performance plans that could be tracked back to business performance through TRS/OEE and the different buckets of losses. These plans will be managed through POKA and/or other tools and will be tracked as part of individual performance review with the Associate's line managers and as part of the E&T 90/yearly plans.
  • Facilitate the role profiling methodology to build clear inventories of responsibilities and required skills and knowledge to identify gaps and then use to build training course and curriculum.
  • Develop with the factory teams Step-up Cards based on the role profile methodology.
  • Support the factory team to develop, evolve and put to practice the factory skills matrix, ensuring this is kept up to date with the outputs of Associate validation.
  • Facilitate Skills Gap Assessment Process to develop a prioritized annual plan for training activity driving synergy across the sites
  • Ensure E&T Pillar training material and tools provided at global level are translated and available at factory level and are clearly understood avoid recreation of the info for each site.

Knowledge Capture:

  • Ensure appropriate knowledge management methodologies are applied to maintain, share and update recorded knowledge within the site’s information structure such as, facilitating the OPL process (One-point lessons) to ensure these communication tools are managed effectively by using technology or other available platform to capture and share knowledge
  • Facilitate the Training design and development methodology with support from the Subject Matter Experts (i.e. Operations, Safety, QF&S, etc.) in a way to drive standardization and simplification across the sites.
  • Training & Coaching on all E&T processes, systems and tools.

Knowledge Transfer

  • Coach Factory Pillar Leaders and relevant functions in terms of E&T methodology
  • Provide leadership, objectives, feedback, and performance coaching to all associates involved in site education and training programs, especially on the job trainers and expert trainers.
  • Accountable for integrity and deployment consistency & accuracy of site course and appropriate validation tools to confirm Associate capability.
  • Create and support framework to ensure successful onboarding for new associates according standard.

  • Salary: £43,000.00 - £53,000.00 + 12% Bonus
