We’re looking for an experienced Supply Chain / Logistics manager to deliver service excellence to B2B & D2C customers (98% OTIF) through commercial management of all UK & Ireland 3PL and transport contracts. Drive value for money through cost control, process improvement and inventory control.
What are we looking for?
Strong end-to-end supply chain &/or logistics experience within a global / European consumer goods business
Experience in managing 3PL contracts & performance.
Strong understanding of EU/UK supply chain (import and export); post-brexit UK trade and customs compliance advantageous
Must have strong experience in managing & developing teams
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Excellent planning & aligning skills
Ability to builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
What will be your key responsibilities?
Manage the third party logistics providers (transport, warehousing, parcel) in UK & IRE ensuring service and commercials are delivered in line with the contract, act as escalation point and hold quarterly face to face and monthly performance review
Leads a team of x2 in priority setting, engagement and results delivery
Take full responsibility for compliance with EU export & HMRC import processes
Take full responsibility for correct inventory management of all stock within UK&IRE warehouses
Drive process, cost & service improvement across the end to end supply chain
Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders (incl customer logistic contacts, internal local stakeholders, regional /global supply chain teams) to ultimately drive logistics efficiency & service excellence
Lead &/or be actively involved with optimization projects / new supplier tenders.
Ability to take on additional responsibility where needed
