Job title: Supply Chain Section Leader

Salary: £46,683 – £52,426

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage a team of Supply Chain Professional Orderbook Managers focused on managing a customer orderbook in support of a KSA Programme
  • Responsible for producing monthly performance data for presentation into the SMSCMC (UK) Management forums
  • Manage the team responsible for delivery of items to KSA; Seeking to continually develop and improve processes with the team as well as co-ordinate the training and development of new starters
  • Customer Focal Point and Escalation POC regarding key Operational Issues
  • Ensure robust processes are in place, reviewed and adhered to in order to achieve targets and improve efficiencies

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Detailed understanding of appropriate Supply Chain Systems (IFS, SAP, Infor LN, ERP/MRP) used to facilitate transactions with previous experience in a similar environment
  • Knowledge and experience of all aspects of the Supply Chain (and its interface points) is essential to the role
  • In-depth understanding of ITAR/EAR and associated databases
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite including advanced level Microsoft Excel and intermediate level using and creating Microsoft Power Point presentations
  • Experience in supporting a small team, development and day to day task management

The SMSCMC (UK) Supply Chain Team:
Join our dynamic SMSCMC (UK) Supply Chain team, supporting Tornado, Typhoon, and Hawk platforms with end-to-end supply chain solutions in a fast-paced environment. You’ll engage directly with stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer support and championing best practices. We offer robust development opportunities, including Personal Development Plans (PDP) with dedicated support from our Development Centre.

As part of the Saudi Maintenance and Supply Chain Management Company (SMSCMC), you’ll contribute to maintaining and managing supply chains for critical defence assets, ensuring excellence and reliability in every operation.
