This role primarily involves two key areas of responsibility: Tech Guild Community Management (20-30%) and CMO Support (70-80%). In the Tech Guild Community Management aspect, the individual is tasked with implementing a strategy for the community aligned with business objectives, engaging with members to provide support and encouragement, creating relevant content, organizing events, monitoring community health, and managing conflicts. The CMO Support portion involves managing communication and training backlogs, prioritizing based on strategic impact, assisting in training assessment phases, designing and developing materials or courses using various tools, and supporting the launch of communication and training initiatives for smooth implementation and adoption.

  • Technical Proficiency: Competence in utilizing relevant tools and platforms for communications, training, and community management. (MS Teams, SharePoint, SLIDO, MURAL, Articulate, PowToon, PPT, XLS)

  • Comfortable working in a remote team setting.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and embrace a "fail forward" mentality.
  • Openness to sharing ideas and receiving feedback.
  • Confidence in enforcing established processes.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Responsibilities:

20-30% Tech Guild Community Management:

  • Implementing the strategy and plan for the community, aligned with business objectives.

  • Engaging with community members, providing support, feedback, and encouragement.

  • Creating and curating relevant content for the community.

  • Organizing and facilitating online and offline events and activities.

  • Monitoring and measuring the performance and health of the community.

  • Reporting insights to the CMO team with recommended actions/ideas.

  • Managing and resolving community issues or conflicts. (or escalating)

70-80% CMO Support:

Backlog and Prioritization Management:

  • Manage the backlog of communications and training requests.

  • Prioritize communications and training needs based on strategic alignment and business impact.

Support D&A Associates through Training Assess Phase:

  • Assist POs/PSLs in the Assess phase, including information gathering, persona creation, learner outcome creation, capability mapping, and format mapping.

Design and Development:

  • Design and develop communications and/or training materials and/or courses utilizing multiple tools including Articulate and Powtoon with ODDA CMO team

Launch Support:

  • Support the launch of communication and training initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.

This role is transformation funded and has an expected end date of December 31, 2026. Beyond this date, funding for this role is to be confirmed and as we move closer to the date more information will be available. If no further funding is available for this role, we will work with you to explore other opportunities for employment within the Mars family of companies.
