The Learning Curriculum Manager (LCM) role is part of the Global Learning Deployment team within MGS Learning. LCMs are key to ensuring the high performance and sustainability of Mars’ learning portfolio. Focused on both the performance of existing programs and the smooth deployment of new learning solutions, LCMs play an essential role in creating a cohesive and impactful learning experience for Associates. By managing portfolio performance and aligning deployment strategies, LCMs contribute directly to a sustainable and engaging learning environment that supports Mars’ commitment to continuous development and capability-building across the business. This role is managing R&D College curriculum and oversees program-related curriculum activities.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree (or the equivalent of education) preferability in HR, Learning and Development, or Business that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities required.
  • Minimum three years of program / portfolio management in the L&D space
  • Previous experience with the usage of Workday, SharePoint and PowerBi and Smartsheet preferred
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to foster and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end demand plans, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and stakeholder requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues, identify solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Good organization skills and the ability to multi-task while establishing clear priorities.
  • Flexible in dealing with ambiguity and changing business requirements
  • Ability to travel as required for appropriate key meetings and forums (around 10% of the time).

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Portfolio Oversight: Organize and lead R&D Learning portfolio meetings to ensure delivery on key performance metrics, aligning outcomes with Mars U objectives.
  • Performance Reporting: Define, measure, and communicate performance indicators to relevant stakeholders, demonstrating portfolio effectiveness and impact.
  • Continuous Improvement (CI): Provide data-driven recommendations on CI initiatives within programs; work with stakeholders to gain alignment and rationalize improvements.
  • Collaboration for Deploy ability: Partner with MGS Learning teams and external vendors, as needed, to drive CI and ensure program deploy ability within the Mars U ecosystem.
  • LMS Accountability: Serve as the content owner in the Learning Management System (LMS), overseeing the maintenance of program setup, including course descriptions, compliance designations, and target audience assignments.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Strategic Capabilities, College Directors, Segment Partners, COEs, and MGS teams, ensuring alignment with business strategies and maximizing value through portfolio management.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer confidence through proactive engagement and issue resolution, fostering long-term trust and alignment with portfolio objectives
  • Demand Planning: Oversee the annual demand plan for the learning portfolio, including demand coordination, finalizing SOWs with vendors and signing off program pricing.
  • Strategic Engagement: Drive consistent engagement cadences with stakeholders to enhance connectivity, align on demand plans, and deliver on learning portfolio.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Promote cross-functional teamwork to reinforce service delivery capabilities, remaining agile to adapt to dynamic stakeholder feedback and shifting demand patterns.
  • Portfolio Optimization: Use data to anticipate demand shifts and optimize portfolio performance, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and organizational goals.
  • Annual Demand Collection: Lead the annual process of gathering learning solution needs, ensuring precise alignment with MGS Learning solutions, business priorities, and evolving stakeholder requirements.
  • Resource Activation: Manage program-related resources to ensure adequate facilitator coverage, including briefing and coordinating with sponsors, senior leaders, and other key figures.
  • Facilitator Upskilling and Community Building: Lead development initiatives for Master Trainers, Senior Leaders, and internal facilitators, building a robust facilitator community.
  • Escalation and Support: Act as the escalation point for master trainers and facilitators, addressing ongoing questions and providing guidance on complex issues.
  • Feedback and Continuous Development: Collect feedback from program facilitators to inform continuous development needs and content adjustments, ensuring program effectiveness and facilitator readiness.
